The Ninja Programmable XL 14-Cup Coffee Maker Pro is our new favorite coffee maker! First off, it looks beautiful on the counter and doesn’t take up too much space. It is designed nicely with high quality materials. It comes with a removable coffee filter basket which is a nice addition. It also includes a coffee measuring spoon that is easy to use and store, and it allows you to perfectly measure the coffee for the perfect cup. The digital display works well and the buttons all respond as they should. There are several different temperatures and brewing options that allow for classic or rich flavors. I love that it has a clock on the display, too. The capacity is quite large at 14 cups max. I also love that the water container is removable and easy to fill and clean - that’s a huge plus! I don’t think I’d go back to a traditional coffee maker after using this one. All around, it’s clean and modern looking and brews a wonderful cup of coffee at a very affordable price. I highly recommend!

I have had this coffee pot for a while. Pros are that it makes hot coffee that tastes rich. I like that you can remove the water reservoir to fill it and that the pot has a large capacity. I did find, however, that if you make more that 12 cups, the coffee grinds get oversaturated and sometimes spill over. The keep warm is very effective in comparison to my prior ninja that had the heating element too far from the pot so it never warmed it. The MAJOR downside is that the pot dribbles a lot when you pour it. It gets all over the counter and on the floor. I have to leave a towel there to catch dribbles and am constantly cleaning the floor. Guests cannot pour coffee for themselves. It is terrible and I probably should have returned the coffee maker. Not sure if this is a defect in the pot I got or if others are experiencing this too.

I have had this for about a week and I absolutely love it! It brews my coffee great, keeps it warm and the beep to let me know it’s done brewing or the warmer is turning off, is not very loud! What I love the most, I no longer need to buy coffee filters!! That will be a great money saver! I also love that the water container is separate!

Pros: large capacity, removable water chamber, auto off timer, sound when brewing is complete Cons: stopped working right after a few months. It started taking longer and longer to brew a pot of coffee, regardless of recent cleanings. The first time this happened, we went through getting a warranty replacement. Same thing happened. It took (without exaggeration) 90 minutes to brew 12 cups before I tossed it right into the trash bin out of frustration and went back to using an old coffee maker until we can get another coffee maker with features we love, but don't have on the standby we had.

I have owned this machine for about a year and a half now and I truly enjoy it! It brews a 14-cup large carafe in a breeze, which is plenty to serve coffee to a couple of visitors. It’s super easy to clean, run a cleaning cycle and then throw all the parts in the dishwasher! It’s as simple as a classic coffee pot with an added brew strength, “rich” which produces bolder coffee and is my personal favorite! Highly recommend this machine!

We like that it's a 14 cup unit. HOWEVER...the unit has a frequent tendency to leak after setting the reservoir onto the unit. Called Support, but they were not helpful and didn't understand where it was leaking. We ended up getting a replacement reservoir...which we're using now...less than 1 year of owning unit. When this one starts leaking, the unit will be thrown away and we'll purchase a different brand. NOT what we exoect from a Ninja product.

Nothing NOT to like about the quality of this model. I like its design for the way it's built as it doesn't take up much room. The controls, (buttons), feel high quality and it's easy to clean. Money well spent!

I bought this coffee pot for the 14 cup capacity. It only makes roughly 11.7 cups of coffee so it is technically smaller than your average 12 cup pot. The tank holds 70 ounces of water. A cup of coffee is 6 ounces which makes this an 11.7 cup capacity. Ninja is considering a cup of coffee to be 5 ounces so they can lie and say it holds 14 cups.

I have had for over a year and from the beginning the coffee glass pot leaked when pouring. I contacted them and was sent a new glass canister which did the same thing. I just now pour over sink. Design flaw I guess.

Bought this coffeemaker 1 year ago. No problems until 2 months ago. It leaks from the water tank bottom seal. I set it up as usual the night before and awoke to water all over my coffee bar and water covering my wood floor beneath the bar. Not acceptable Ninja. I haven't used it since this happened and I am now using my old reliable Keurig. I will not purchase anothe Ninja coffee maker.

I love the coffee it makes but so disappointed how the water leaks out all over the cabinet. It started doing this 3 months after purchased but kept using it. It is now at the point half the water leaks out before the full pot completes.

Major design flaw with the coffee pot. Coffee runs down the side of the pot when you pour the coffee. It’s not just a little bit that spills, it’s a lot of coffee. Also the water reservoir will leak if you use the delayed brew function. Many times I’ve found water all over the counter and on the floor because it leaked out over night.

I have owned two of these. The first one had an internal leak out of the bottom of the base that covered our granite counters. (which are not supposed to have standing water) The second one just stopped working and wouldn't turn on. Needless to say I won't be pushing my luck on a third.
