A: Hi, you can follow the Fan Cleaning steps on the Instruction Manual, after following them you could use a vacuum on LOW setting to complete the cleaning, please make sure the fan is unplugged before cleaning. FAN CLEANING • Always unplug the fan before cleaning. • Do not allow water to drip on or enter into fan housing. • Be sure to use a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution. • Do not use gasoline, thinner or benzene as a cleaner. • Clean the fan grill, housing and base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not attempt to remove the fan blade. Please use caution around the motor housing area. Do not allow the motor or other electrical components to be exposed to water. Was missing the bottom stand piece, the one provided was for a larger model size rather than this fan. Broke 1 month after using as my bedroom night time fan. Started making a weird noise and completely stopped.

Like -the size and that it mhas a remote. Dislike -The motor is loud, trying to use in bedroom but can’t. Also the remote doesn’t always work, I have to push the button several times before it catches. Was hoping to replace the bulky stand fans, but with the loud motor I won’t be able. Can’t afford another. Not happy.

Nice airflow and I like that it has a remote but about a month of using it started making this annoying rattling sound regardless of the speed or setting. Disappointed :( looking for a new one already.

Great airflow. I have a small bedroom but even on the lowest setting I can feel the breeze of the fan. I particularly picked this fan for it's 5 speeds and a remote and was not disappointed. It has so much power in its higher and even power breeze settings, but I usually leave it on speed 2. Although my only complaints are that speed 1 makes a sort of weird rattling sound, and I couldn't tell the difference with sleep mode on or off.

It doesn't get too loud so it is great to fall asleep to. I keep this fan in the corner of my room and can still feel a strong breeze from my bed in the other corner. It was super easy to put together too, just a few pieces to stack

I like the different fan modes and speeds. The timer is also a nice feature in case you don't want it running all day and forget to turn it off. Assembly was effortless. I did break one of the prongs when I took it out of the box because I didn't realize the base wasn't attached and it fell over. Overall I like this fan so far.

I love that it has 5 settings of fan speed. It comes with a remote, but unfortunately no batteries came with for the remote, which is the only reason I took off 1 star. I like this fan much more than the big pedestal ones I had before. It’s super slim and can’t fit in much more convenient places.

Since it is so tall, I do find it to be a little tippy on carpet. My dog hit it and it wobbled a little bit, but thankfully didn't fall. Speed 1 is so minimal that it seems useless to me, but the other 4 speeds are great. It's pretty quiet, even on max speed. It has 4 modes, regular, breeze, power breeze and sleep. I love the breeze mode. It reminds me of sitting outside on a slightly breezy day.

This Holmes - 42” Digital Tower Fan with Clear Read Display + Remote Control fit the bill perfectly. It has 5 speeds and is quiet. It oscillates, has a timer and a remote control. The slim design doesn't take up a lot of space. I like that I can set the timer or can use the remote to turn it off or change the speed without having to get out of bed in the middle of the night. I like it so much that I'm thinking about purchasing one for my guest bedroom. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a new fan.

When I turn the fan on, it’s actually blowing out air that seems slightly cooler than the room temperature fan, and it’s provided relief to me on many occasions when I feel the room is too warm/stuffy. I’m even more excited to see how helpful it is once we get to those muggy/humid summer days! It’s quiet enough that my co-workers sitting in the cubicle next to me can’t even hear it running, so it’s far exceeds my expectations.

I was able to feel a breeze on the other side of my kitchen. As far as fans go, I thought that it was pretty quiet, and I even forgot that it was on! There are several different settings (breeze, sleep, oscillate), and you can easily tell what setting and power level is on because of the large screen. I did wish that there was a spot to store the remote though. The tower was pretty easy to set up when reading the directions, but I did need another person to help with assembly and making sure it was stable.

This one is light enough to easily move around to place where you’d like it. It has 4 modes, very varying degrees of air flow, so you can find the perfect breeze. Even does well in larger spaces. My daughter likes to set the timer to have it shut off at some point overnight. The remote control makes it that much easier to turn it on/off or change settings! Great fan by a trusted brand. I expect to have this one for a while.
