Sadly left “bleach” stains on some of our favorite, darker clothes. I’m also starting to learn that all nontoxic detergents only smell good alone-meaning, your clothes won’t smell like that when they are finished with the cycle. The detergent smells good. That’s it. Your clothes won’t smell like it.

I’ve had this product for a few months now. I’ve ran this laundry powder with hot, warm and cold cycles to see what works the best. I would recommend running cycles using warm or hot temperatures. When you run the cycle using cold water, sometimes there will be residual powder after the cycle ends. My washer is HE, so maybe this is the case for only HE washers. The laundry powder smells peppermint-y prior to the cycle, but once your clothes are done washing, your clothes will come out unscented (but clean). I was really hoping to have fragrance of peppermint though after washing, which is why I have 4 stars instead of 5. The clothes are clean after using this laundry powder, and the laundry powder suds up very well!

I really wanted to like this product however I just cannot because it does not seem to clean clothes very well. It does not remove simple stains. For example, does not remove milk, or stains from baby poop even if you wash the clothes right away with hot water.

I don't think this product cleans well at all! I still see stains on my clothing. Worse yet, my clothing still smells like the last time I wore it. Gross. I wouldn't waste money on this. I wish I could give it zero stars.

For a eco-friendly option, it’s not bad at all. Gets most mild stains and odors out, but does seem to struggle with heavy stains or really strong odors. Doesn’t leave much of a scent either.

Hey Molly, where are your "suds"??? There is a reason why traditional laundry products use all those "oh-so-toxic" chemicals in their formulations. You cannot ensure a thoroughly washed and sanitized laundry when you rely exclusively on so called safe ingredients. There is absolutely no suds formed during washing, nothing gets washed and the peppermint scent disappears completely by the end of the washing cycle. Shameful moneygrab by the manufacturer and shame on Target for not vetting the products they sell, especially considering how obnoxiously expensive this useless product is.

If you have hard water this winter work for you even if you also use vinegar. The liquid works best for me but Target does not currently sell the liquid!

Not sure why this has such high reviews. This is the worst soap ever made my washing machine smell terrible and the clothes came out smelling like a wet dog. Do not listen to any of these reviews nine elements laundry soap, way better than this crap.

Recently switched to Molly’s after a lifetime of using Arm & Hammer Sensitive Skin in hopes of reducing plastic use. This detergent works great! Especially when used with distilled vinegar. I have a history of skin allergies to liquid soaps/detergents, so was nervous to try this, but have had zero issues with Molly’s. So happy with this product!
