With a 1 gallon/4 quart capacity and square 6x8 inch shape, it fits lids with a 4-5/8 inch diameter commonly used on vintage hand-crank butter churn designs. Rather than replacing an entire butter churn unit, this replacement jar allows you to simply swap out a cracked or broken jar on your existing churn. The square shape is compatible with the churning paddle mechanisms of those specific butter churn models. By utilizing this replacement part, you can economically extend the life of your classic butter churn. One gallon replacement jar only .
