Astro A50 Wireless Gaming Headset for PlayStation 4/5

Bought these headphones for my son and they broke almost a year to the date. They won’t turn off. Missed the return window by three days and Target won’t return them. Don’t waste your money!

Defective after just a couple of weeks. Not to mention that it required an extra adaptor. After much back and forth I was sent a replacement charging station, but not sure if that was the problem. Due to time delay I purchase a different headset and am much happier. Don’t waste your money on this product!

Very disappointed in this headset. I’ve heard so much about Astro headsets that I decided to finally splurge a bit and buy one for myself, and I immediately regret it. While unboxing it I had high hopes, the packaging it comes in is very nice and luxurious. Once I actually put it on and tried to use it I was shocked how cheap it felt! There is a piece on the headband that pops out any time you put the headset on, and it’s the only cushioned section on the headband so without the piece it sits uncomfortably on your head. It also requires an extra adapter to be able to use all of its functionality on PS5 (which is fine, just wish it said it anywhere on the product page and not in small text on the actual box). A $250 headset should probably have what you need in the box already and not have pieces popping off the second you put it on. Hopefully target will accept this as a return!

I get home to use the headphones they don't work. Do a little research and they need an adapter target doesn't carry and everywhere else online is 2-3 weeks out on shipping so these things are basically worthless I'll be taking these back to get the turtle beach stealth pro. The worst part is you buy a 300$ set of headphones then you still need to spend 40$ on an adapter if you can get it anytime soon, little ridiculous if you ask me should've been included.

I ORDERED THIS HEADSET FROM MY HUSBAND AND THEY CAME IN USED. THEY DIDN’T EVEN HAVE ALL THE ATTACHMENTS IN THE BOX. I’m beyond upset because I really wanted to surprise my husband. Now I have to return them in store and order another set Because they’re out of stock. Please be aware when shopping on Target.com.

I couldn't wear these for more than 5-10 minutes. The charger is insanely slow. Had to leave on the charger for an hour to get 9% battery and be able to try them out. App is clunky and the documentation is abysmal. Almost all support is youtube videos. What happened to documentation? I only gave 2 stars, because they do sound AWESOME, but they have way too much head squish, and the ear cups squish my ears vertically in both directions. I compared them to my hyper x clouds and my partner's steel series Arctis 3 earcups. It's night and day how small these are. They're even a touch smaller than my Sony MX4 headphones which are compact travel over ears. Big yikes. The company claims they re-designed them for compatibility with the dock, but even my partner's tiny ears didn't fit. They're also 80 grams heavier than the competition. I am returning them to try the RIG 800.

Sounds great. Love the wireless feature but there is a piece on top that pops out every time you slightly bend the headset band. It basically renders this unusable. Google it.

Astro A50 Wireless Gaming Headphones are awesome. They are well made and comfortable. They are easy to use and easy to charge. Not really easy to charge while using them but that isn't a problem for me. The audio quality is great. They maybe a little too big for children depending on the age of the child. Price point is a little high but completely worth the money. I love these wireless headphones. I received these is exchange for my honest review.

I have been a PC gamer for over 15 years. I have owned many headsets. After getting a well paying job, I decided to splurge on a headset. This headset is by FAR the worst headset for the value I've ever owned. NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS. Avoid this hunk of junk and save your money. The microphone quality sounds like you're talking out of a tin can stuffed with pillows. Just to name a few issues: *Headset wont charge *Headset wont turn on *Headset wont connect to base station *Base station becomes bricked *Audio volume locked at low levels *Headset randomly powering down, even when vertical

This is the best gaming headset available! It works fantastic. The sound quality is crystal clear. The microphone is quality as well. There is no muffling or feedback when talking. It rests comfortably on my head, offering flexibility to tighten or loosen it as needed. Overall, really great headset!

My husband is obsessed with gaming and we have regular game nights every weekend. He had been looking for a good headset and he was very impressed with it. I generally do not use headsets myself but I liked it too. It is super comfortable on the head and the sound quality is super nice. Love it overall

First impressions is the box. Marketing did a great job as the box and packaging is impressive and secure; like the great unveiling. These are great headphones. A+ for overall comfort but can feel a bit heavy when worn too long. Battery lasts quite a bit and gets good range as well. Love the charger. Easy to connect. Mic picks up so much sound, yet doesn't grab unwanted feedback. Def recommend as it's worth the price.

WOW!!! I am so impressed!! The quality of this headset is incredible. Even the packaging is top notch. I opened the box and knew it was going to be something great. This headset is by far the most comfortable headset we have had. The cushioning is thick and cradles your ears in the best way. Its not too heavy either. The Dolby sound is amazing. Its loud in a good way, with amazing sound that is crisp, has bass, and no distortion. The mic is excellent too. 15 hour battery life is on point. Astro really made me a huge fan. I highly recommend this headset. Get it, you will not be disappointed. My teenage son loves the headset and agrees its the best. He has zero complaints and he is very selective when it comes to headsets. Gamers dream!!

These headphones were a gift to my husband and he loved them! He did have to buy an adapter to make it compatible to his PS5 and that kind of make the TV mess up u til he rewired it. Only bad thing he could say was he wished the ear attachment was bigger or could buy one that is.

Fantastic quality! This headset has taken my gaming and movie watching to a whole new level. It’s seriously like I’m in the movie theater or in the actual game. Amazing! Plus having the charger is a game changer, no more having to stop playing and go get batteries. Two thumbs up, highly recommend!

Although we had some trouble getting the headset set up and wirelessly connect to the Play Station, it has proven to be a great gaming helper. The ease of recharging and the way the set sits on the charger are simple and convenient. They are super easy to put on the charger and don’t take up tons of space. The sound quality is great, and the microphone picks up easily. Overall once set up, these are great for gaming.

I really REALLY wanted to give this product 5 stars, as the reputation of the product is strong with my gaming friends. However, I feel with the setup instructions, I can't give it that rating, and where I feel it lacks the most. I personally dislike only picture instructions (I get it, from a budget standpoint, translations and cost of type print is real... but as a consumer I personally struggle with only pictures.) The card linking to the FAQ site was also lacking, as it seemed more promotional, even in the FAQ, and we struggled to find exactly how to get power to the headset to charge. Eventually, I went to YouTube from other users, and was able to get the headset charged and then synced up for use. Now, the performance of the headset themselves blew me away. The sound quality was beyond my expectation, and the ease in which to adjust volume and other features on the headset were exactly what I would want. The fact I can toggle between my PS4 and PS5 or my PC makes this a must have. Truly, it was a wonderfully made device and I am beyond happy with usage and audio output during gaming. The main drawback was a clunkier setup out of the box, which could be improved, which is why this is rated 4 out of 5 stars. I feel consumer frustration might cause early returns to the store, and felt this needed to be shared.

This headset is amazing in so many ways, the sounds are incredible and clear. The best part about this is that it is wireless and can charge with ease. This is not to heavy when wearing but it can clear or the noises that surround you, so every little thing you hear is crystal clear during use. Definitely recommend

i love this headset it’s comfy and comfy the battery is great! although i do have problems whenever i turn my xbox on sometimes i have to unplug the charging port and plug it back in for it to connect. other than that it’s a great headset! would recommend it
