Q: Can this be used in raised garden beds too? The other type that is specifically for raised beds doesn't for use with growing flowers.
A: Hello! Thanks for your question! While our Organic Garden Soil can be used in raised garden beds, it's specially formulated to be mixed with native soil for in-ground planting, where it really shines. If you're planting in raised beds, we recommend our Raised Bed Mix for best results — it's designed specifically for that setup. But feel free to experiment and see what works best for your garden! If you have any other questions or need help choosing the right soil, we’re always here for you at contact@backtotheroots.com. 🌱

Q: Does soil contain bio solids?
A: Hi Cherette! Our soils do not contain any biosolids. Much of our local material is upcycled bark fines from pre-consumer waste streams that would otherwise be incinerated for energy, land-filled, or otherwise disposed of.
