[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In two passes this carpet cleaner brought my 4 year old light gray carpet back to new! The only dray back for me is the size for the solution and dirty water! but besides that this machine cleans great!

Bought this a year ago and it is now in the basement collecting dust. Maybe I can give it away because I won't be putting any more money into it. The belt to move the bars broke after the third use. I took it out yesterday to clean a rug and the bars wouldn't move. Took it apart and the belt was broken! In 14 months this happens??!! It probably snapped after the second use and I didn't see the issue. Plus, it left my area rugs soaking wet after even when I would attempt to extract the water for numerous dry passes. I fell for all the hype and am severely disappointed. Now I need to buy a new machine and it certainly won't be a Bissell.

Okay, writing a new review after reading other reviews. It is having another problem that I just assumed was part of steam cleaning your carpet?? 1. This thing is horribly loud. It is SO LOUD. I feel like I'm going to lose my hearing by using it. They are ringing after every use. It SCREAMS the entire time I use it. I think it is the rubber seal between the dirty water tank and the device, because I can sometimes wedge a sock in there and it will stop for a bit. Or, it used to stop for a bit.... Then the sound is totally manageable. 2. I just assumed the floor would be pretty wet after use, but apparently it isn't supposed to be?? I need to use towels after every use, lay them down all over the floor and walk constantly, then after a little bit I pull up all those towels, wash and dry them, and put them all down again. This goes on for two-three DAYS before the carpet is dry enough to walk on without getting wet feet all the time. 3. The upholstery attachment doesn't spray water or solution at all. It does sort of suction I think? But the suction is weaker than I had expected. I imagine it is too late for me to do anything about it; I've had it for a while now. Definitely contact them the moment you notice anything wrong, ESPECIALLY if you notice it upon first use. I didn't realize the screaming or excessive moisture wasn't normal; I've never had devices like this before.

This thing screams so loud I'm sure it could scare away a grizzly bear. It has since the day I got it. I feel like my hearing is being damaged every time I use it. But it cleans SO WELL, and my senior dog keeps peeing on the carpet so I keep using it. The attachment for cleaning smaller areas and upholstery also doesn't work, but that is a much smaller issue. Send help soon.

Love my carpet clean revolution hydrosteam 3424F but can't find the belts for it.

I would add that the steam feature doesn't seem to operate like I would like on hard surfaces, but, the other functions, including cleaning down to grout on tile, have been very efficient. There seems to be a lot of product released with the cleaning mode and 2-3 passes are necessary, not just suggested, but, the floors dried quickly. If I could I'd give 4.5 stars Easy to assemble.

In the 2 rooms I have done thus far, it is pulling the dirt and such out great! The rooms smell so much better and the carpets are looking wonderful again.

Just purchased- none of the attachment tools spray any cleaning solution, and the brush brushes spin while attempting to use hose with attachment tools, causing them to smell like they are going to burn up. This caused cleaning solution to leak all over my hardwood floor when attempting to clean my couch. I will be returning to go back to Hoover brand. I'm disappointed, because I really wanted the steam for pet messes.

I had unreal expectations that my neglected rug would look like new again…it didn't, but the amount of dirt removed from it was impressive. I had a pro heat 2 for many years and we shared it with our kids so it was used often and worked like a champ. I believe this machine will also work hard for many years. I liked this machine so much I also purchased the pet hair eraser lift off vacuum cleaner and I couldn't be happier with it.

Leaked water all over the floor and continuously sprays water without even pulling the trigger. The trigger does nothing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought to clean a mess. Easy assembly and straight to work. Some difficult spots needed a second pass, but the party was 3 weeks ago.

This product doesn't work for floors. I have to keep using this machine over and over again just to clean a small area. It's ineffective. I called customer service to request a different model and offered to pay the difference, but they refused to let me do that.
