A: Hi Connie. In Steam Wash mode, the BISSELL CrossWave HydroSteam will heat the internal water temperature to 212F to produce steam. The average temperature of the steam on your floor (in Steam Mode) is 30C—35C (86—95F), but you may see a max temperature of 50C—55C (122-131F).

A: Hi Tess. It's a corded machine and the steam is a setting you don't have to use at all times. It's not designed for dry vacuuming, it's meant to vacuum and mop at the same time.

Leaves behind streaks or a long water line or puddles. I reread the manual to ensure I was doing it properly. I have to go around with a mop to mop up the puddles ☹️ it's expensive to not work properly

unfortunately i must of received a return or a lemon because it didn't work i was so bummed out because my first one i had for two years was my favorite, i use it every single day. i did repurchase another one and it works like the first one i cant live without it. This this the best vac mop ever i have all hardwood floors and this machine keeps my floors beautiful. i cant say enough about this machine if you dont have one get one and you will love it too.

I bought this on September 2024 and had to get it replaced 4 times. The steam failed, the water squirting failed, the roller also failed because it stop spinning and it leaves water streaks This is very disappointing and frustrating to have bought this product and not work like it supposed to.

Before it would take upwards of 3 hours to vacuum & mop; now I'm able to do BOTH within 45 minutes! With the added bonus of cracking my area rugs if need be.

I can see, feel and smell the difference of steam cleaning my floors now. Everyone comments about not being "smell" that there are numerous pets inside. Fantastic to do vacuuming and steam cleaning in one step as I've had surgeries that can make sweeping, vacuuming and mopping arduous.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't typically write reviews, but I love it when I find a good gadget that works. This machine is easy to use, easy to maintain, and leaves a cleanliness I have not seen before. I have a balcony that was recently refinished and the new surface is super abrasive (intentionally so that it grips, reducing slip/fall risk). The problem is that cleaning it has been virtually impossible. Brooms leave a lot of dirt behind, mops shred with the abrasive floor, and vacuums don't work great either. This machine leaves my balcony literally squeaky clean. The steam breaks up tremendous dust accumulation and the vacuum picks everything up behind. Moreover, the assembly/disassembly of the machine is great. The parts come out super easy making maintenance and parts replacement incredibly easy and convenient. I know the intended use is indoors, but I have zero complaints and am impressed by the functionality. Well done Bissell!

I purchased this product last april. I have had 2 of the original Crosswaves that I love. One is still in use. I run a Basset Hound rescue so I use my crosswaves a lot. The Hydrosteam + seemed like a great idea. But other than the steam, it does not work as well as the original crosswave. The dirty water collector doesn't hold as much dirty water as the original, and tends to stop before it is even close to the full line. which means I have to empty it more often. Any pet hair tends to get stuck on top of the brush so that has to be cleaned more often also. With the special clean cycle, even when you turn the machine off, as long as it it is still plugged in the units light stays on till unplugged. I have been greatly disappointed in this one, Especially for the price i paid. I still absolutely love my original crosswaves and will continue to tell all my rescue friends about them, (we have also purchased more of them for our foster homes to use). the original crosswave has made my life taking care of senior hounds so much better... I wish the Hydrosteam crosswave had lived up to even 1/2 the hype. While I love the Bissell dedication to rescues, and find most of your products outstanding. This one really missed the mark, and didn't make my life in rescue easier.

Even the grout looks clean. It's so convenient to vacuum, mop and steam clean all at the same time. It's light and easy to use.

I works well when it works. I have pets and this just can't handle the pet hair. It constantly stops and gets plugged. I mean constantly. And now it's not working at all. Again. It is the second one in just over a year that I have to go back for warranty. I wish I could trade this for a better model that can handle pet hair because this can't.
