A: Thank you for your question. The Speed Brew does not have an automatic shutoff either on the warmer or the water reservoir, which is designed to be left on or placed in vacation mode.

A: The brewer does not come with a water filter. However, it comes with a deliming tool and instructions on how to use the tool to clean the lime buildup from hard water.

We have bought quite a few bunn coffeemakers over the years and we have always loved them. However our latest purchase has come with a broken (?) handle on the filter basket. There is clearly a piece missing from the front of the basket, paying this much for a coffeemaker we would have appreciated a proper handle, much nicer looking and comfortable to grasp than what we have received. We have searched the packaging several times, to no avail.

The metal” handle on the carafe and filter basket is paper. I always put both on top dishwasher rack and both peeled off. Also, don’t like the it does make a mess if you need your coffee before brew time is done. Throwing this model in the trash and going back to original model.

This will make the smoothest coffee you will ever make at home. It has a water tank/heater that keeps the water at the perfect brewing temperature so the coffee doesn’t get scorched by having scalding water hit it like with a regular drip machine. It also starts brewing immediately; no waiting! You just have to remember to turn off the tank when going away for more than a few days.. There’s a reason why all the restaurants and coffee houses use Bunn

Worst coffee pot I ever tried! And I wanted to like it for the aesthetic. My cheapo coffee pot has a feature where if you remove the pot mid brew, it will stop the drip until you replace the pot. This coffee pot does not. Pulled the pot out mid brew to top off my cup and coffee poured out everywhere. What a mess.

Worked doe only 10 months then stopped heating very well. Price point is too high for 10 months of use! Hated it not having auto shutoff. Overall cheap looking plastic base. Disappointing and expected more from Bunn.

I had a Kitchen Aid Pro drip maker for 15 years. Metal with stainless filter holder and a warmer that could be turned on after it went off after 2 hours. Read up on new makers, this one kept being mentioned in top 5 lists. I know it’s quirky that it’s always on and ready etc… I didn’t care. Always wanted a commercial Bunn machine but space is an issue. Love the carve and big metal machine and this machine looked like a quality item. Got it home to find what looks like what you find in a hotel room. Tiny. Takes the tiny basket filters and the carafe says 10 on it but it isn’t. What a disappointment. Went right back in the box and will be returned without ever turning in. Just ordered a nice kitchen aid drip maker that is a real 12 cup machine.
