A: The Speed Brew line of brewer does not have an auto-shut off feature. The warming plate will have to be turned off manually.

I was weary of buying this since it stayed on all the time, but I am really enjoying the speed of having hot water available so quickly. I also use it for tea and oatmeal. Love the carafe and lid...there are no drippy messes anymore. This is very much a no frills-makes great coffee purchase. Easy to use.

Nothing to complain, wonderful ageless product - its an old American powerhouse along with Mr Coffee. The built in tank and multi pronged head is worth its prize, gives Technivorm a run for its money.
