Q: Can you use this to grind spices too? I would think so but not sure.
submitted by AF - 1 year ago

A: Yes

Q: Will the grinder create static electricity causing the grounds to cling to container hands and countertop?
submitted by SleepDog - 3 years ago
A: High speed coffee grinders will create static electricity causing grounds to stick to the container. Over time the static will dissipate. You can also try tapping the container on the counter top to reduce the static.

submitted by Matt - 4 years ago

It grinds very evenly, but due to static electricity, coffee grounds get all over counter. Messy grinder.

This Capresso Coffee Grinder is awesome!! Great smaller design than my old one and has same capacity (12 cup) and grind choices!! We have it set just above the 1/2 way mark because it was too fine. Now it’s perfect and a lot quieter!

This machine has been very disappointing. Makes a mess when you grind as the grinds go everywhere. Would not purchase.

Really like this grinder. Has multiple settings for how fine to grind the beans and seems very consistent. Also grinds a lot at one time. I like the lid on the grinder bin it helps keep the grounds in place and make less mess. It has a safety feature that it will not grind without that lid in place, which I also appreciate because I forget stuff before I’ve had my coffee. Overall good machine.

I bought this because my husband no longer enjoyed the hand grinder. I was looking for the smallest option because I only grind 1-3 servings per time and do not store beans in the hopper. I have owned many grinders, with the best being baratza encore. This was the cheapest/smallest I could find with the best reviews. I have been using it a few days and it works well. The plastic does feel cheap, but it grinds well. Perhaps too well, but I don’t care that much. I use it for pour over but I am setting it on the most coarse setting and it still seems too fine. I don’t see how it could work for French press without being overprocessed and too bitter. Either way, grinds seem consistent and it gets the job done quickly.

I just got this after buying my first real at home espresso machine. I'm really happy with the quality and performance. I did a lot of research and decided on this model. Easy to use and clean, and very happy with the ability to get fresh ground coffee when I want it.

I LOVE my grinder! It adjust for different types of brewing and stops when it’s out of beans. The container has a sensor so if it’s not on correctly, the grinder will not pour grinds everywhere. We use this every day and our house smells better than starbucks

I have always wanted a coffee bean grinder. I have heard coffee taste so much better when coffee beans can be freshly grinded before making coffee. Yes! My coffee does taste so much better when i grind my own coffee beans. This coffee bean grinder is very easy and simple to use. It also works quickly as well. I have this set up right next to my coffee pot on my counter. It is a good size and definitely something nice to have!

Really great coffee grinder. I'm new to whole bean coffee but heard the taste is better (fresher?) so needed a grinder to add to our arsenal of kitchen products. I really liked this version by Capresso because of some notable features: 1. The safety system in place. The grinder won't operate if the lid is not in place 2. It's so easy to clean! The grinding disk can be easily removed for cleaning 3. The instructions are easy to read but operation of the machine is so simple, instructions aren't even needed 4. The container that holds your ground coffee is removable and spacious 5. Lots of options with the amount and fineness of coffee. You can grind just enough for 2 cups all the way up to 12 cups. It's so convenient! 6. Looks sleek on a countertop 7. Last buy not least, built in cord storage! (I'm easy to please lol)

Fresh scent of coffee beans grinding in the ginger is everything in life. The grinder is so easy to use. Dump the beans and turn on and watch the magic happen as it crumbles the beans of life into magic dust for my coffee machine. It's ease to use and the quality improvement of the taste of fresh coffee makes this everything for a coffee lover.

I must say I am impress with this little grinder. This is my first time using a grinder for coffee beans and I love the flavor of my coffee now. I like how it grinds it in a nice very fine way but some of the beans were not as consistent. I like how much the grinder hold too. I also used this to grind some other stuff too and it work amazing. I like the size not to small or big just perfect for my drinking area.

I love this coffee grinder. It’s stylish, and sleek so it looks nice on the counter. It has several settings to help you measure out how many cups you’re making but best of all it has several selections for the size that you want to grind too. I love that it’s large capacity.

This is amazing! I’ve always wanted a coffee bean grinder, and this did not disappoint. It is so easy to use. It has the ability to select the amount of cups you plan to use your coffee for, as well as letting you change the grind size based on your method of brewing. I used mine for a drip coffee pot. All the beans came out ground finely to the level I put. The container to put your coffee beans at the top allows for a secure storage (up to a week for freshness according to manual). Once you have your coffee beans loaded and the collection container put in place, just adjust your grind size and cup amount and press the on button. It automatically stops when it reaches the desired amount of cups ground.
