My dishwasher would not work when I used these. The dissolvable outside would not dissolve all the way and would get jammed in a mechanism. I had to cut them open for it to work.

We're so very sorry to hear about this. This is designed to be used in virtually every dishwasher, so what you experienced is very unusual. If you aren't already doing so, be sure to put large dishes away from the dispensing drawer, and make sure the arm in your machine isn't blocked. Cascade platinum plus always makes my dishes squeaky clean with no debris. They remove the dirtiest of dishes with no dried on debris. Very powerful and effective dish tabs. The cheaper models/varieties do not work as well as these. Scent is not at all overpowering. I love the tub vs the bags. Easier to keep safe from pets and easier to store.

My favorite for the dishwasher pods. Gets the dishes clean every time! One pod is all it takes! I grew up washing dishes by hand. This has made me lazy, and I don’t hate it!

Even the forks with egg on them get clean. I use very HOT water. Never have spots on glasses. The pod always dissolves. My fishwasher isnt a garbage disposal so I do get particles off before putting in dishwasher

Bought this for the price but regreted it due to the dishes smelling like soap water and seeping into the food! Absolutely repulsive. Switching to another brand. Cheaper price not worth my food tasting like dishwater.

If you are experiencing a left over taste on your dishes, there are a few things we would recommend checking. First, if your dishwasher has a filter, we would recommend removing it and cleaning it according to the dishwashers manual. In addition, It is also important to make sure all of the items are dishwasher safe, and that the sprayer arms are not getting stuck because of a rouge pot handle during the cycle. Please keep in mind that some items made of cast iron, or dishes that have become porous over time can absorb Cascade causing a lingering taste. Finally, we'd recommend giving Cascade Free & Clear a try as it contains out lightest scent. We want to learn more about what is happening in order to help you further. These dishwasher detergent capsules are good. The scent isn't too strong (I hate strong scents!). A bit pricey, but at least in our household one big box (62 capsules) lasts very long time. We use dishwasher every 2-3 days. I would buy this product again as this is the best dishwasher detergent that we have found now!

After trying multiple dishwashing pods in an effort to save money, I always return to Cascade Platinum. It doesn't save money with lesser quality pods when you have to run the dishwasher more than once to get dishes clean!

I will never understand the obsession with products being so strongly scented. Just why? Why? Why? Who wants their clean dishes to smell like artificial perfume?
