A little thicker than I prefer, but I liked the feeling of coverage it provided. I would be willing to buy this again in the future. I can’t tell yet how it will affect sensitivity. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a Crest LOVER so I was excited to give Colgate Total a try. Overall I liked the new tube and cap design. The taste was a subtle mint - I honestly would have preferred something stronger tasting as I didn’t feel minty fresh after brushing. I did like the consistency and texture which dissolved quickly and didn’t bubble up in my mouth nearly as much as Crest.

Using for the first time I like the feel of the paste, cleaned my teeth well and it did not leave that burning fire in my mouth feeling afterwards ! This product does not have whitening additives ! Which I love !!! Thank you Colgate. This will be my new buy for my family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toothpaste was easy to squeeze out the tube but be careful not to squeeze out too much because it will start to get stuck around the opening resulting in a thick film. Besides that I felt my oral care went up a notch. I haven’t noticed any cavities in my teeth and this was able to clean my teeth after brushing. There is a mint scent to the toothpaste.

It does leave a minty, fresh feeling in my mouth after I use it. It has a flip top that is attached so I do not have to worry about dropping/losing the cap. It stands up on its own and gravity helps keep the toothpaste readily down toward the top part, which I will find useful as I continue using the toothpaste. I like that it helps fight the root causes of 8 different common mouth ailments such as plaque, tartar, gingivitis, cavities, sensitivity, bad breath, enamel erosion & stains. I feel it helps me keep on track with my dental hygiene between my visits to the dentist. I will continue to use this toothpaste and plan to purchase this product again in the future.

I prefer toothpastes that focus on oral health rather than whitening or aesthetics and this seems to do the trick. My biggest complaint are the added dyes. It seems like an unnecessary addition to a toothpaste. It adds nothing of value and just throws another chemical into the mix. If you're looking for a toothpaste that works, this is it, but I wouldn't choose it over my current one.
