Q: Does this have rubber tips to not burn fingers?
A: Nana P, per the user manual, you shoud "not attempt to touch the housing of your appliance near the plates, as it is hot when in use." This does not have a rubber tip. I hope this helps.

Q: There are only 2 heat buttons (Low & High) on this, so how do you adust the temp to get to the other 3 settings?
