A: Hi Luigi. The self-cleaning cycle boosts machine maintenance after every use by refreshing the brush roll and flushing out debris. You press a button to run the cycle. It has a run-time of 25 mins with a recharge time of 4 hours.

A: Hi Jesse. Our CrossWave machines will vacuum and refresh rugs, but it's not a deep cleaner and won't work like one.

Q: What do you do when the battery wears out? What is the life of the battery? If not sold seperately - would that mean you have to start over and buy the whole unit again?

Q: Is this considered a multi-surface cleaner? I have laminate floors, tile floors and carpet in my house. Can this be used on all three?

A: Kayla, it can be used on sealed hard floors and area rugs, but shouldn't be used on wall-to-wall carpet as it isn't a dry vacuum and won't work like a deep cleaner on carpet.

Our place is about 1200 sq ft of wood and ceramic tile floors. Before I would vacuum then mop, it took forever and hurt my back. This little go getter 2 in 1 is amazing, nice and light. Clean up is not much more than rinsing a bucket and washing it a mop. I much prefer this machine. I am having some difficulty with charging but haven't checked with customer service yet so there may be an update.

Ok…my bad. I wrote a review earlier this evening complaining that my HF3 cross wave wasn't sucking up the dirty water. I finally found a video on YouTube and realized I'd left out the piece that goes behind the brush. Apparently it is the part that directs the dirty water intro the dirty water tank. I had sat it up on a high shelf to dry in my laundry room and forgot about it. My apologies. I got it all put back together correctly and now my floors are clean again!

I dreaded "mopping" them and would do them with a wet mop every 2 weeks, and by hand once every 4-6 weeks in order to get into crevices and corners. The wet mop took some exertion to push and pull. The Bissell is a back and ankle saver as it self propels across the floor. I do not dread cleaning these floors anymore! I don't like using cleaners on my floor so just use warm water with a drop of Dawn.
