A: Not hot at all. I touched the floor as soon as the steam hit it and it was barely warm, even on the highest setting. How is this called at steam mop? Steam is not hitting the floor.

A: Only use water on the Shark Steam Pickup. Do not use any cleaning solutions, scented perfumes, oils, vinegar, or any other chemicals, as they may damage the unit or make it unsafe to use.

A: This unit is designed for use on most hard floor surfaces. We recommend that you first test an isolated area of the surface to be cleaned and review the use and care instructions from your floor manufacturer. Surfaces/materials where the steam mop should not be used: 1. Wax-polished furniture or floors. 2. Unsealed or unglazed ceramic floors, unsealed wooden and wax floors, and some unwaxed floors.

I’ve always wanted something just like this that way I can clean my floors as much as I want without adding any harmful chemicals. I no longer need a mop. It’s quiet; it’s not loud like most floor cleaning machines. You can use it on hardwood, marble, tile, stone, laminate, and vinyl floors. It’s super easy, all you need to do is add water. It picks up any debris, deep scrubs, and steam sanitizes to the floor. It’s also very lightweight too.

Doesn't pick up dust or hair....just pushed it around the floor. And the steam must not be hitting the floor because my floor is barely warm when I touched...and I have it on the high setting. I see steam coming out but I think it's just disapaiting into the air not hitting the floor. Not sure I will keep this.

I have neck and back issues and this Shark Steam Pickup 3-in-1 Hard Floor Cleaner couldn't make it easier to clean my linoleum floors in my home. This floor cleaner is super lightweight and just about pulls itself across the floor while sucking up loose dirt and easily steaming away the floors daily messes. Quite honestly I don't know how I haven't owned one of these floor cleaners years ago!

This is a great product! I have dogs and I am very cautious about what I put on my floors to clean them. This was an instant solution. The steam disinfects and cleans my floors beautifully. Plus, it is so easy to use and clean afterward. My cleaning lady came on Friday and used she used it for the first time. She was so impressed with the fantastic job that it did in my home, she said she wanted to order one to bring with her to use at all of the homes that she cleans!

While it boasts that you don't have to sweep beforehand, I find doing so helps because it did not suck in hair or certain particulates well, so that makes up for most my qualms about this gadget. That said, stuff like coffee grounds and dried spills were no problem for it. I especially love using this after cooking and the floors start getting greasy-- so compact/easy to whip out and clean through what I used to dread taking care of!

Seems pretty durable but I wasn’t exactly banging it around to really test it. It did the job as well as any other steam mom, I really like that it vaccums and sanitizes with the steam, but I did swiffer the floor before to not get any hairs tangled in the roller, but as I was mopping it didn’t seem to matter as the hair didn’t seem to get wrapped around the roller like on a vaccum, it simply pushed any hairs that were on the ground back out all over the floor, so I had to pick them up by hand. Not the end of the world but could be annoying to some.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little vacuum does a nice job of cleaning tile and hardwood floors. Compared to a traditional mop and bucket, you end up with the same results. There is a roller that picks up the smaller solids, so it saves the trouble of sweeping ahead of time. This is convenient, but you'll still need to disassemble the reservoir and roller after each use to clean it out. It's nice if you're limited on space or if you have a small area to maintain that isn't carpeted. Otherwise, I'd look for a larger reservoir.

It cleans decently well but I would use it as an additional step in the cleaning process instead of the main clean. It works better on hardwood floors as opposed to vinyl. Not bulky so it won’t take up a lot of space.
