Q: Why is it that my floor is not hot from the steam? I touched the floor while the steam comes out and the floor is barely warm.

A: We confirm that while you go over the floor it cools down quickly making it much safer. This is not something related to the product's performance though.

A: Not hot at all. I touched the floor as soon as the steam hit it and it was barely warm, even on the highest setting. How is this called at steam mop? Steam is not hitting the floor.

A: Only use water on the Shark Steam Pickup. Do not use any cleaning solutions, scented perfumes, oils, vinegar, or any other chemicals, as they may damage the unit or make it unsafe to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying I love Shark vacuums. I have multiple and they are my go to’s with daily use. My Shark vacuum (we have two. One runs midmorning and the other runs in the early evening) my house 2x a day, so my home is pretty clean. I was so excited to try the Shark Steam Pickup 3 in 1 Hard Floor Cleaner to really make my stone and marble floors shine as well as have the benefit of sterilizing them. Sadly, I was not super impressed. I have to go over the same area multiple times. It’s “supposed” to vacuum any stray debris my actual vacuum misses and then steam clean the floor. It doesn’t pick up very well and actually sticks debris to the floor with the wet steam instead of picking it up. The cartridge that holds the water also lasts for about 1 room before you need to refill it and the brush roller is usually soaked and dirty so it smears dirty water on the floor. My floors are white. The vacuum is VERY hot at this point and you need to let it completely cool before disassembling the multiple parts to clean/rinse/refill. I have a 3000 sq foot home with all hard floors so this is super inconvenient and takes forever. For me, this isn’t worth the price and has totally missed the mark. Lots of potential but no execution. If you have a small home with no foot traffic, it may work out. For my busy family it’s sadly a fail.

The pickup is pretty good but mostly for bigger stuff. I would still use a broom or vacuum to get the smaller things. The steam clean works great and isn’t streaky after drying.

It's so tiny! I didn't use the product. The cleaner was much too small for the needs that I have. It would take hours to clean the floor with this little machine. It would probably work fine for someone with a small room.

This one is a lot better more convenient and it does a great job scrubbing the floor. I also love the stand that it comes with making drying and storing easy.

The product is nice and compact (see it next to a normal broom). It picks up minor debris well but struggles with some bigger stuff or heavier areas. There’s no cleaning solution, only hot water. So I guess you are effectively cleaning by boiling if the water is hot enough for long enough? I definitely like it as a supplement to sweeping but I’m not sure how clean my floors actually are at the end. It is better for a small apartment or townhouse

I bought it a month ago and first I have to say I do love it!! It makes me feel my house is really CLEAN, but now.. since the 3rd use (have used it like 4/5 times only, like once a week) I notice it leaves a lot of water residues on the floor and the water tray is pretty much dry/empty when I clean it. Makes me wonder if there is something not working properly or is it normal? I just have to go back and dry the spots w/paper towel but in every use this increments. Would love to know how to fix this as I AM IN LOVE with this steam mop.

I love this thing. In the midst of baby led weaning, and this thing is fantastic for picking up the little pieces of dried food that I don’t have time to manually clean up. So easy to store (it’s not big) and clean.

It’s quiet; it’s not loud like most floor cleaning machines. You can use it on hardwood, marble, tile, stone, laminate, and vinyl floors. It’s super easy, all you need to do is add water. It picks up any debris, deep scrubs, and steam sanitizes to the floor. It’s also very lightweight too.

Doesn't pick up dust or hair....just pushed it around the floor. And the steam must not be hitting the floor because my floor is barely warm when I touched...and I have it on the high setting. I see steam coming out but I think it's just disapaiting into the air not hitting the floor. Not sure I will keep this.
