CRUXGG 500°F Extra Large Ceramic Nonstick Searing Grill & Griddle - Smoke Gray: Indoor Smokeless Grill, Dishwasher-Safe

A year and a few months later and here's where we are. Bought this item specifically because it boasted a 500°F. From the get go the middle light never lit up, no matter how hot it got. Over time the grill does not heat as quickly as when I first got it. Worse yet the griddle intermittenly reaches approximately 300°F and it does not get any hotter. Using an infrared thermometer the griddle also has uneven heat spots. I'll check CRUXGG website for any tips on troubleshooting. Price has dropped since I've bought it.

The only thing I don’t like about it is that the cooking plate can not be securely attached to the base. It’s too easy to take on and off; there should be notches for the cooking plate to click into and a release button/a to release the plate from the base

Absolutely love this grill and griddle! First things first, this design is amazing! It's sleek and doesn't look like a regular griddle. The only thing I wish is that it could be full griddle and then you can switch to a full grill. The assembly was super easy which was great because it made the cleaning process so easy. I hate cleaning griddles and grills but this top pops right off. The scraper helped out a lot! It cooks really well and the level on the griddle was easy to understand. I really love that the griddle also has legs on it so you can pop it off using the handles and set it on the table! I would definitely recommend!

I liked the nonstick and two different cooking surfaces. The size was smaller than I thought. The owner’s manual is skimpy. I would love to have gotten a few recipes in the manual.

Grill Griddle Combo! I can’t say enough great things about my favorite new appliance! I knew it would be great for breakfast - bacon, eggs, and pancakes - all in one place! Now that I’ve used it, I envision all sorts of ways to use it - burgers and veggies, fish and fried rice, steak and potatoes. The metal backing is great and helps with any food “splash”. It is easily removed to clean. There is a grease trap that is also easy to remove and clean. The cook top is heavy and quite durable… also easy to clean. I’m a fan of “easy to clean” if you can’t tell! The unit heats up quickly and cooled down quicker than I anticipated, which is nice on both accounts. I also LOVE the red base! It gives a nice pop of color in my neutral kitchen. Couldn’t be happier!!

The CRUXXGG BRNR smoke searing grill/griddle is a great way to make some really nice burgers, steaks or even fish inside. It has a very convenient hole that goes into a drip pan right in the grill area. Having this, makes is much less messy. I do wish it had a lid on top to close and do both sides at one time, however, this is a very nice way to get some crispy blackened areas on your meat! (It cannot go in the dishwasher either, which is minus a star for me.)

Great grill/griddle. Large size for a lot of cooking. Easily to clean after use. The platform doesn’t get hot to where you have to protect the countertop. I made perfect turkey burgers on this and pancakes on the griddle! Totally recommend!

I like this enough, but I wish they would’ve made two different grill plates (one that was all ridges and one that was completely flat) to make this more functional/versatile. It can fit 4 burgers on it pretty easily, however it seemed like it may have not heated evenly. I’m sure we’ll try using this more as it gets colder as another option to the grill. For now, I need to find another place I can store it (it’s about the size of a griddle) until it’s needed again.

I was so excited to try this griddle. Once I took it out of the box, I was impressed by how sleek and beautiful it looked. I really liked the red color and the size was perfect for my countertop. I read the manual and decided to cook up some steaks. One side is flat and the other has ridges for cooking thicker cuts of meat. The temperature gets really hot and it seared my steaks perfectly. It was also really easy to clean. I look forward to cooking more foods on it.

I would first like to say I was so excited to receive this product. Upon receiving my product I noticed the sleek ceramic plating, Which looked very nice and modern. I used my product during a family get together. The product was very easy to set up and use.I love how all the grease goes right into the drip pan. I was able to cook multiple foods for myself and my family. The breakfast meals were out of this world it was such a great experience. I also like that everything is done at the same time, meaning we can all eat at the same time. The product is very easy to clean, I love that it is dishwasher safe. I would highly recommend this product.

This BRNR SMOKE - 500F Searing Grill/Griddle works great. It preheats quickly and cooks evenly. It has a simple operation and cleans very easily. It also comes with a two-sided scraping spatula which cleans the griddle well. The griddle has two sides one that gives those beautiful grill lines and the other a flat surface. This would be great for some breakfast pancakes and sausage as well. The only down-side for this griddle is the cord is way too short and I needed to use an extension cord to hook up this appliance.

I really like the look of this griddle, and it is mostly pretty functional, but does have some draw backs. The biggest one being the flat top and grill top being combined. I can't think of many applications where you would be cooking using both methods, and in my time with it such a scenario never came up. The down side here being half the cook top goes unused. Very wasteful. It would be nice if it came with separate plates for each. Secondly, in using the flat top I found it heats unevenly, even though there isn't an abundance of space. Lastly, it cycles on and off depending on the "temperature" setting, making cooking inconsistent. I use "temperature" rather loosely, as the dial only has off marked. Maybe there is a setting to allow it to heat constantly, but I can't say as mine didn't include an instruction booklet and I've been unable to locate one online. In conclusion it does what it's supposed to, but only barely and with some caveats. With enough experimentation you can get some good results but that's not really convenient, which is the entire point of a counter top griddle like this.

Absolutely amazing indoor grill. I love the sear feature it works better then advertised!! Super sleek and doesn't smoke. I am very happy with this grill. Would definitely recommend to anyone that loves grilling.

I wanted to love this, I just didn't. The heating surface does heat quick, but I found the temp didn't stay consistent. It does take up a lot of space and it may have been just as easy to use a pan. So far, I've only made pancakes. It's possible that if I were to making pancakes and bacon and eggs all at the same time I would find it a better use of space.
