A: Hi Healthy teeth! This product should not be used on the lower teeth. It is only tested on the top teeth and we would not be able to recommend trying on the lower teeth.

I’m very satisfied with my night guard i have TMj, I see so many at the bottom saying it’s bad choking hazard and falls out I cannot tell you what they are doing wrong but I have NONE OF THESE PROBLEMS got it Feb 2025 and since no issues with hitting down and any other problems. I sleep VERY GOOD WITH IT. Haven’t missed a night using it. Highly recommend.

The guard is first to be heated in hot water so you can shape the mold to fit your teeth perfectly to help keep them in place during use. There is also a convenient storage case included to store the guard when not in use.

The instructions were pretty clear. 3 minutes was not long enough to warm up my water so I put it back in for an additional 2 minutes. Once I did that, it formed to my teeth perfectly. It was pretty comfortable to wear. Although, after 2 nights it rubbed a raw spot against my gum that took about a week to heal. It's a neat product and I would recommend it. Just be really careful on when you mold it to your teeth so that its perfect.

It's now a fear of mine... Losing my teeth. I need a mouth guard to help protect them, but didn't want to pay the crazy fees my dentist wanted for a mouth guard. So the DenTek mouth guard caught my attention. I wondered how it would fit since everyones bites are different, but they have it so you can heat up theirs in hot water and then bite to personalize it for you! I thought it was very smart, however I just don't find it strong enough and big enough to adequately do the job. This person has very little to it in the front and while larger in the back, I don't feel like it protected the way I was looking for it to. They do have another version which may be a better fit, however, this was the version I had and that is what I am reviewing. This is definitely for someone that just needs a little help. I thought it would be nice as I do gag with a larger mouth guard, but it just didn't give me the stronger protection I feel is needed.

Since trying this DenTek night guard it has definitely been a life changer for me. It's comfortable during the night not bulky like other brands I have tried and very durable. My jaw and teeth haven't been this pain free in a long time. Definitely my new night time routine.

It has just the right amount of thickness to be effective, durable, and comfortable. I had no problem breathing or sleeping with this mouth guard .

It makes too much of a gap in my teeth so it makes my jaws hurt. It is easy to use and you breathe normal with it in your mouth.

This is a great solution for the time being! Not only is this affordable, but it’s so easy to use. It took about 15 minutes to boil, shape and cool. It fits so securely in my mouth and it’s not at all clunky. I can talk and you can hardly see it. It protects my back teeth perfectly and because it stays in, I don’t find myself pulling it out in the middle of the night. It’s thin and provides just enough cushion and coverage to give my teeth a break, but not so clunky that it’s annoying. It’s comfortable, affordable and works!

This mouth guard came with very concise instructions to form the mold that were easy to follow, and a handy case to store the mouth guard in when not in use. It was comfortable to wear once I got used to it, stayed put throughout the night, and I did not experience pain in my teeth and jaw upon waking up. I'm sure my husband enjoys not hearing the horrible sound of grinding teeth anymore.

It was a little tricky to make the impression and fit, but once done it felt pretty comfortable in the mouth. I’ve noticed I wake up without jaw pain and headaches since this mouth guard has helped stop my teeth grinding when sleeping.
