SleepRight ProRx Dental Guard – Moldable Mouth Guard for Teeth Grinding, Clenching, and Bruxism – Ultra-Thin, Custom-Fit, Durable and Comfortable

I grind my teeth at night and it's led to some rough tmj dysfunction on both sides over the years. And sometimes I grinded so loud I woke my partner up at night. I started getting concerned about grinding so hard I chip my teeth, so I got this to try. And so far it's been good, and my partner hasn't had to wake me up to stop grinding so loud. It's easy to set up for your mouth. Sometimes I think because of the grinding, I get little plastic flakes peeling off the guard. But I just pulled them off before they had a chance to come off themselves and I swallow them. I haven't had anymore issues with that.

I’ve had this for a month and have been using it every night. I like that it’s not bulky and has an easy fit. The initial fitting was easy to follow. The only downside is after using it for a couple of weeks I noticed the night guard started to reform into funny bunches in the front teeth area and parts of the plastic was peeling off towards the back teeth which became a bit uncomfortable to wear. So I decided to refit the whole thing like I did starting from the beginning with the hot water. It helped reform it again but now it became much thinner and the front bottom part has a small hole from it biting through. Hopefully it’ll last another month or 2 but will need a replacement soon. Overall though it has helped tremendously with my teeth clenching at night which was causing an overbite. This night guard has so far helped me save thousands of dollars from getting Invisalign

I think this was easy to mold and feels comfortable in my mouth but did take some time to get used to! So far it seems to be durable and nice quality!

Also great that it is bpa and phalphate free. And the water temp doesn’t need to be boiling to set it! Overall, would recommend.

The directions were easy to follow, however, it was a little difficult to mold to my teeth. Times were accurate -60 seconds heating, 40 seconds soaking, and 4 minutes to form. It isn’t the prettiest but it will do the job.

I appreciate that its custom fit since of course everybody’s individual mouth structure is different. Its easy to use and comfortable to wear and it really helps at nighttime for its intended purpose.

Well, I do, so I put off trying it for a while. Long story short, the one night I tried to use the guard, it definitely flared up my TMJ. Setting up the guard, while very straightforward, easy, and painless, also flared up my TMJ. I don't want to say the product is bad because I'm sure it's great for folks that don't have underlying jaw issues.

You do not need to use boiling water in order to use, which is a plus because you won't burn yourself forming the guard. I would have loved if this guard was for both upper and lower as the guard is not the most comfortable against my bottom teeth. I do like that it has indicators to help get a better fit.

I love that they also give you a case to protect it when not in use. The instructions are detailed but simple to follow.

I have difficulty sleeping with something in my mouth but comfort is about the same compared to the other 2 brands that I've tried. Time will tell on durability.
