This is just perfect for helping clean up the pillow stuffing, which was ripped out by an unsupervised, bored puppy, and which clogged the smaller-diameter hose of my old, fancy Rainbow vacuum. Our kiddo didn't realize he was making a big mistake trying to suck up too big of pieces. He clogged hoses and wands on that model of vacuum, but this one really saved the day. It even worked well lifting up dusting of pet hair all over my carpeted stairs. Now, if I want to trust my 11 y.o. with car vacuuming and/or larger mess clean-up again, I no longer must worry if I have a vacuum rugged enough to take on these tasks. This one did it!! The handle on top and on-board mounts gorgeous wands and attachments are a nice touch as well.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. We put it together in a few minutes and used it to clean up debris from the garage floor. It worked well and my husband was pleased with the gift.

Items is easy to assembly. Comes with many functional hose attachment to suit any cleaning project. Quite compact and powerful suction. I’ve only had it for a week but already impressed.

It comes with several useful attachments, including 2 nozzles and 3 wands for harder-to-reach places. We took the car to the car wash and vacuumed it at home. We love that it's portable and can go wherever we need to clean. It is also lightweight and easy to move with a handle on top. It cleaned the car well and sucked up all the dirt left behind by my two kids. The vacuum works well and is well-made. It turned out to be very useful around the house. It's definitely a vacuum we didn't know we needed until we got it! It was also very easy to empty and clean, which is a huge bonus! We like it so much we've already recommended it to our family and friends.

I'm putting new walls up in my living room and not only does it clean my mess, I also had it running while I was sanding the walls! The only reason I took 1 star off was because I believe it's a little too pricey for the size.

I have two young kids and my car is always a disaster; food, crayon wrappers, dirt, leaves, toys, you name it. The size of this vacuum is convenient for getting into smaller places and easy to move around. I have not tried out the wet vacuum part, but cleaning up dry materials it works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Dirt Devil 5 gallon wet/dry vacuum in exchange for my honest review. I appreciate how light it is, making it easy to maneuver. On the flip side, what is terribly annoying about maneuvering it is how easy and often it tips over. Then suction is lost and I have to futz with it to get it working again. When the regular hose is used the suction is great, especially for how small it is. But when any attachments are added the suction becomes minimal. The hose is too small to suck up anything like leaves (and fairly small ones) from the porch. Another negative is how short the cord is. Other positives are how easy it is to assemble and empty/clean. It works quite well as wet vac but all I have used it for is to clean a chair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this vacuum for the last 3 weeks after receiving it to test and try out in exchange for my honest review and I have been thoroughly impressed. This vacuum is much smaller than the Rigid wet/dry vac I've been using for the past 3 years but the Dirt Devil has performed just as well and has been able to handle everything I've thrown at it. I've used the vacuum around the garage, laundry room, to clean my car's interior with the help of the attachable nozzles and to clean a wet patch of carpet near a sliding door. This will be my go to utility vac from here on out, the smaller size and weight make it much easier to maneuver and store indoors but it still has plenty of room to handle big cleanups if needed.

I had a previously large wet/dry vac that was very hard to move around and get into small spaces. This vacuum is such a good size. It's so easy to move around and so light to /carry. It has so many attachments that my other vac didn't. It may be small but has amazing suction. I have used it to clean my vehicle and cleanup a spill on the bedroom carpet. Very impressed with the results., The only thing that could be better is the cord, it's not very long. I needed an extension cord to use it. I would buy this again and 100% recommend this to anyone.

It's pollen and shedding season here in New England, I used this vac initially to clean the door mat that was a sticky pollen mess after a rain. It quickly looked brand new so I continued to vacuum up the ground floor. This vac worked better to pick up cat hair than my traditional vac! The cord is short so needs to be replugged in often but that's to be expected as it's not designed to be used to clean the full house. One frustration is that it it tips very easily if the floor is uneven at all. When it tips, it has to turned off and 'reset' to resume suction. I have not used it to clean up any truly wet messes but I looking forward to using it the next time we have a heavy rain as we tend to get some water in my basement. I also used it to clean out my trunk and it worked great on crushed leaves and dirt. This is not an appliance that I use often but it is easy to store and I know it will come in handy for various cleanups!

After heavy rainfall, my basement had a large amount of water accumulated on the floor. My basement is made from cement. I was shocked at how easy this was to assemble, operate and cleaning. Dumping the water that I vacuumed up was the only thing that I had a harder time with because of how heavy it was to carry up the stairway. I do however like that this has wheels, or you can take them off. I would definitely recommend this for all homeowners. You never know when you might need a wet vacuum or dry at that matter. Perfect for cleaning up projects around the house. I also tried using this to clean my car. The suction is very strong compared to other brands I've owned in the past. There are a few different attachments that come with this vacuum depending on what you are using it for. I was quite disappointed with the lack of attachments - was especially hoping for one to get into small crevices. Suction isn't tremendous, so wouldn't recommend on carpet. I'll be using for those 'dirtier' tasks I'd rather not use my good vacuum for.
