They are ideal for damp storage areas around the home and garage,as well as for camping or boating. The strong pressure clasp latches provide high clamping pressure allowing the the silicone seal to be water tight.
The Waterproof engineered grade silicone gasket is designed with precision flexibility and rebound to repel water and protect your valuables.

Q: How much weight can they support, when stacked on each other? Would three bins full of clothes or books be able to stack up, or would that be more weight than the bottom bin could support?

A: I wouldn't want to fill this size with books -- they'd probably be too heavy to lift well. Filled with relatively-light clothes and coats and such, though, I have them 5-high with no issues.

We bought a few of these to keep in our garage for some extra things. Specifically bought for the weather seal. It has so far held up for many summers and winters in the garage. We now have them everywhere in our home. Toys, computer parts, cleaning supplies, you name it and we have these. They stack easily and are very easy to open or close. It's not the cheapest container but they seal & protect well, stack well, and are quite durable.

For as expensive as these totes are, they should last: however, we have had soooo many issues with the bins cracking (not just minor cracking but into pieces) and the lids cracking/shattering. We bought a bunch of these after our house fire to store the new things we’re buying/receiving as gifts until our new house is finished being built. Over HALF of what we bought have broken in some way or another: I started buying a different brand tote for the rest of our stuff, and no issues. But these ezy storage waterproof ones are garbage.

They are extremely flimsy and will crack easy if stacked. They are great for storing a blanket or to keep dust out, but don’t try to move it with too much weight in them.

I bought 4 of these totes in store for my Barbie collection. Came home and 3 of the 4 were cracked and the other was missing a blue latch! The heck! All 4! I’m gonna return and try again but these seem to flimsy. They were in my hit car for a few hours but weren’t sealed so I’m not sure what happened

I liked the fact that this EZY Storage 79.3qt IP67 is waterproof. Numerous times I have lost importance items,pictures documents in storage tubes that claim to be waterproof.

Decent bins, but with one MAJOR design flaw… no handles! It was fun filling them up then realized they were next to impossible to carry to the garage. I’m returning them. Not worth the price! I’ll stick with my IRIS weathertight bins. They have handles and I’ve never had one break. They’re worth the extra money!

This is better priced and the gasket is better quality than other bins marketed as being watertight and pest proof, BUT, a gap can easily be seen between the lid gasket and the bin in all corners. I was looking for a reclosable bin to protect belongings from tiny pests like mites, but the gaps are large enough that this doesn't seem like it would. Otherwise seems sturdy and the lid fits well so if that's all you need this may be a good buy for you.
