I liked everything about this product very easy to use .

As many reviews have stated. There is NO charcoal filter as advertised. And, the top does not shut completely. Do Not Buy recommendation.

This product is marketed as having a filter. The only filter available for this pot is just dropped into the reservoir and doesn't filter anything. Hamilton Beach claims that its function is to improve the flavor of the coffee, not to actually filter anything. The only holder available from Hamilton Beach does not snap into the area where a filter should fit in order to actually function as a filter. I have been using bottled water only to make coffee and the clean light activates every week. I've now switched to distilled water, hoping to make this unit last more than a year.

So far so good. However did not come with water filters as advertised. Wish it came in white as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Easy Measure 14 cup coffee maker is easy to use & makes 14 cups of delicious coffee for large groups or multiple cups for "coffee junkies"! It keeps you from having to keep close tabs on the coffee during parties. The only issue we found was the design requires access to the back of the machine to refill the water reservoir. The machine is so tall it would have to be pulled out from under cabinets to refill or use it on an island with access to the back. It's nice that there is a light in the filter area so you can see how much coffee you're adding (as well as a graduated scale). The permanent gold filter was defective on the first machine we received, hence the lateness of this review.

It's easy to fill and equally easy to clean. You can brew now or later and even sneak a cup mid brew. The reusable filter provided has markings that make it easy to make sure that you're using just enough coffee. A+!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off I read all the directions and the setting of the clock is not written correctly. I found if I held the time button down the numbers just flew by. I used my knowledge of setting other digital clocks instead. It took me a few tries to get the coffee to taste right, but that is not unusual with a coffeemaker. The amounts on the carafe and the reservoir do not exactly correspond either so you will have to figure out which you want to go by. With a measuring cup and figuring 5oz. per cup, I found the carafe to be more accurate. The coffeemaker does have some nice features like the lighted mesh filter area for putting coffee in. However, you can use paper filters if you prefer. The LED lighting on the unit is easy to read and tells you exactly what is going on. I might prefer an actual on and off light though too. The brew strength is a nice feature, but note that it cannot be used with small amounts of coffee (1-4 cups). It has an indicator to tell you when the maker needs cleaned which should be handy. This is a coffeemaker for someone that entertains a lot or drinks a lot of coffee. The manufacturer has streamlined it, but with the reservoir and large carafe it is quite large. It would work best in a corner. The unit seems to be very sturdy and constructed well. The carafe might be too heavy for some to carry especially with a full batch of coffee in it. It makes a fine cup of hot coffee and should be a durable coffeemaker and suitable for someone that makes a lot of coffee.

One pot lasts me all day. It's a very high quality coffeemaker and looks great on my counter. I would highly recommend this coffeemaker. It would make a perfect gift.

It is big and takes up a lot of counter space - but it is a 14 cup coffee maker so that’s to be expected. It is pretty light which makes moving it easy. I really like the fact that it comes with a mesh coffee filter so that I don’t have to buy any paper ones. It brews quickly and without issue.

Easy to fill water chamber, has a keep warm mode, will automatically shut off after two hours, goes nicely with stainless steel kitchen. Makes 14 cups in about 16 minutes and it will tell you how long since you have brewed the coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only thing I find wrong with the coffee maker is the handle on the pot should be a little small if you have small hands it's a little hard to hold and the pot if you don't watch when you pour the first cup you end up spilling it otherwise I like the coffee maker it's nice to wake up to hot coffee

The coffee tastes good thr carafe keeps the coffee warm for at least 12 hours hot for about 4. I don't have to worry about breaking the pot. The carafe is wide mouth and easy to clean. The reusable filter is a nice addition. I don't need to buy any filters. I don't usually make a full pot and I've gotten my ratio right.

Amazing brew strength, easy to set up, great water reservoir, and sleek looking machine. I also love it doesn't take much space. I have 12-cup coffeemakers through the years and having that extra fluid ounce on special occasions and having multiple coffee-drinking guests comes handy. On a glance, it did not have innovative features or aesthetic uniqueness that is worth checking on. It is a standard programmable, drip coffeemaker from Hamilton Beach that have improved features worth considering. You may consider other Hamilton Beach Coffeemaker models if you are looking for customizable settings and brewing features. Pros: - Illuminated, easy to measure reusable cone filter is convenient and saves you money and mother earth for not needing paper filters - Refillable, removable water reservoir makes it easier for water fill-ups and no leaks occurred - Sleek design with illuminate on demand settings - Spill-free pour its nice, easy to clean glass carafe - 4-hour keep warm feature makes coffee-on-demand more convenient. Cons: - Mesh is not tight enough that coffee granules pass through during the brewing process - Level of water to brew amount is not consistent. The amount of water used seems to yield less coffee on multiple brew attempts - Touch-activated display is not sensitive enough and needs extra pressure to adjust settings. - Hot plate is somewhat too warm for my liking I have used it daily for about a month now with no issues. I use the program setting so I wake up to fresh coffee every morning which is also easy to set up. Overall it’s one of my favorite coffee makers recently because of its simplicity.

We like the easy fill reservoir and the way it just snaps on the back to make your coffee. Once again, it LOOKS very nice on the counter. Glad we have it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best feature compared to other coffee makers is the removable water tank with a handle for easy removal. It makes it much easier to put it back in place, also. The settings are very easy to understand. Depending on how much water you put in the reservoir ie, full, half, three quarters, and the amount of coffee you put in the basket that`s how much coffee you'll get. You don't have to make a full pot every time. Another great feature is being able to set it for the exact time you want your first cup of coffee. It stays perfectly hot for each cup. It automatically stays hot for 2 hours but the temperature and time can be changed.

After it brew and is done, I reheat it later in the day. The machine looks great and performs perfectly. It is easy to use, and I love the easy water filling tank. I will not buy a different coffeee maker again.
