This does NOT come with a resuable filter, as indicated in the image. I almost returned it just for that. It seems like a decent coffee maker but it's a bit overpriced. The plastic cover on top looks like it expands due to the heat from the dispenser. I'd suggest looking at other competitors.

With the ability to brew a big 14 cups you can have your morning coffee with enough left over to make iced coffee later. Sharp looking coffee maker that is very easy to set up and use. Programmable maker so your coffee is ready in the morning without any effort. I use the same 12 cup reusable filter from my previous coffee maker and it works well. Easy to clean glass carafe. I rinse and dry. Instructions are simple to understand and precise.

We always needed to brew a small second batch so everyone got there cups filled for the morning which was tedious and time consuming. This larger carafe makes just enough to get us going with one batch. It has a small batch feature and it keeps it warm without scorching for a few hours, which is handy for working from home days. Overall, very happy with this machine!

You can also brew less cups of coffee by simply programming the coffee maker. I love that u can auto pause it to grab a cup of coffee before brewing finishes. We tried it without a filter using the basket, and the coffee turned out wonderfully but it was a pain to clean the basket. We bought filters but when we try to use the filter with the basket, it bunches up. We have found we can use the basket filter without the basket without any issue. We usually brew 4-6 cups of coffee and it turns out well. The coffee pot brews all of the water that you put in the tank, so you have to fill it each time you make coffee. It does have a feature that you can pull the pot out and pour a cup of coffee before it has finished brewing and it stops dripping until you put the pot back. The programming buttons are easy to read and easy to use.
