Q: The online description reads “adjustable slicing disc”. If you cannnot adjust the thickness of the slices, what does “adjustable slicing disc mean?

Q: There are obvious beads of moisture inside the clear plastic on the shaft. That would seem to cause rust over time or be unsanitary. Is there a way to dry it or get it out of there?

Q: How do you adjust the slicing disc for thicker slices,I see nothing in the instructions?

  • A: Thank you for your question. You are not able to adjust the thickness for this disc. One side will be label for shredding, and the other for slicing, however you cannot change the thickness.

    Waste of money

    Don’t waste your money. The plastic piece inside the handle that signals the processor is properly secured broke after a couple of uses. This only lasted a few months, if that. Be wise and spend your money on a product that will last.

    Bigger but not better

    I bought this as an upgrade to my old and smaller Hamilton Beach food processor. While this food processor is much larger, I had to cut things down that my older unit could handle easily. It also fails to shred the last 1/2 inch of cheese. I found myself being annoyed with this less than five minutes after setting it up. Glad I didn’t throw my old one out just yet. My search for a larger processor continues.
