Q: How does the diffuser work? I put oil in mine and I ant smell anything. There is no heating element to diffuse the oil and the cap that the pad sits in has no air coming through it so it doesnothing.

I love the esthetic of this air purifier, looks clean and great for small to medium rooms. Overall design is great and I’d powerful enough with the three power setting although a turbo boost would have been nice. What I don’t like: it needs a dedicated light dimmer and the diffuser that it claims it has is not! The diffuser does nothing, it just sits in the reservoir and that’s it. There is no heating element under it or really any air streaming under it to diffuse the oil. Don’t get this for that, it doesn’t work. There is some light bleed from the front of the machine due to the bright LED that you can shut off but it also lowers the power to the lowest setting. If I’m sick I would like to keep the middle setting going at night and turn off all lights (sleep mode) but can’t do it on this one it’s all connected so not an option with this machine. I had to put caps on the lights as I thought they were still too bright on its lowest setting sleep mode, especially the lower light on the bottom to diffuse the brightness. It’s a great machine but very disappointed with the diffuser feature and lack of control over the lights. In the end you can turn off all the lights but the power is at its lowest,which is something I wish I could control even in sleep mode. I do recommend this machine but don’t get it if you think it has a diffuser and the light issue.

I got this at the Target store after some failed attempts at ordering online. Apart from the size, I was impressed by the sleek design. It’s definitely not an eyesore. I find it super cool that it has a slot to put some essential oils for aromatherapy and that you can just use a cotton ball (unlike other brands where you have to buy a special little pad). It’s improved the breathing quality in the room where we keep it, although we do use it in a much smaller room than it’s intended for … at least that should give us more air exchanges per hour. We keep it on high and aren’t really bothered by the noise. I think it helps with the dust and it’s definitely helped me sleep better. The filters seem easy to find on the company website and I like the lifespan it promises for them. I got this on a good sale and quite glad I did. The only part that disappoints me is the light indicator on the bottom … it lets you know VOCs, but not the air quality in terms of particulate matter. You could just put it on auto and I guess the speed changes would let you know (each setting/speed is distinguishable by the noise level) … but I personally would have liked the light to indicate this as well. I guess if VOCs are important to you then this is a great 2 (or 3 if you consider the essential oils) for 1.

This air purifier cleans the air 115 times a day in a 190 sq.ft room when ran 24 hours. The purifier helps capturing dust, pollen. pet dander, smoke and dust mite debris. I love the indicator that lets you know about the air quality showing good, moderate and poor. I have seen the improvement in our allergies since using this Honeywell Purifier.

The instructions were much easier, and simpler to read, and the air is much cleaner. I love the fact that it tells you how clear, and clean the air is, and it has different modes. It is not loud at all and is nice, and compact so I can fit it in a nice space in my room. I highly recommend this product. I have been using it for almost three months now, and it is perfect.

Besides the modern design, it is very quiet when running and seems to work well in the room I am using it in. I have noticed considerably less dust and the air in this room seems fresher to me now. Out of the box, it is an easy set up. Almost a plug and play model. It's not huge in size and I have it on a side table. Overall, it seems to be of high quality and it's cleaning my indoor air nicely.

Super easy to follow instructions included in the box. Very easy to assemble and very easy to understand what it does. I absolutely love that this air purifier has a place on top for essential oils. It’s so easy to pop a little too off and put some drops on a cotton pad (included) and snap back in! You can also take it out and clean it. Another great feature for me is that the bottom illuminates to let you know the air quality. Lights up green for good and red for not so good! All the buttons are on top and simple to follow on how you want to set the purification. All and all I give it a ten 10!!!

We already have smaller air purifiers in each of our bedrooms, so we wanted to try this larger unit to place in our living room area. This Honeywell unit was simple to set up as the legs just snap into place. Remember, like every air purifier, you’ll have to switch out the filters as needed. I was surprised at how quiet this model was and liked the LED light feature on the bottom that changes from green to yellow to red depending on the air quality in your home. Also, there is a compartment for essential oils on the top of the unit. The air in our living room seems cleaner and free of dust particles and this unit has certainly helped with our allergies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't find it to be loud when its in cleaning mode. Once it starts, yes sure its a sudden "loud" noise but it quickly fades into the background. I leave it on sleep mode at night and there is definitely no noise or sound coming out so sometimes I'll leave it on auto for some white noise. It's on the larger side for a purifier but since its on the floor, it doesn't take up too much space. It also looks bigger because there are legs on it and they are sprawled out. On the top of the unit, there is a small cotton pad like disk where you could drop some essential oils onto. I've yet to use it because I have 2 dogs. If you are not aware, many essential oils are actually toxic to dogs. The ones I currently have all fall into that category but I will eventually buy some dog-friendly ones to use. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it works, but I don't know how well it works just yet. Over time I'll be able to tell if its actually helping clear the air.

I can’t rave enough about it. It was easy to set up straight out of the box. I found it to be very stylish. Another feature I like about it is that it emits three different colors of lights depending on what the air quality is. I currently have it set up in my bedroom. I was concerned about how loud it was going to be. I found that I could barely hear it when it is running. I highly recommend this for anyone who is in the market for an air purifier!

The legs just snap into place and you just need to remove some plastic and wrap the filter with the filter wrap. The filter wrap helps reduce household odors. It's very very quiet which is a plus. It has a LED light on the bottom that changes from green to yellow to red depending on the air quality in your home. On top is a little compartment for essential oils that you drip onto a little cotton circle.
