I accidentally dyed my hair darker than expected and it did turn red. I let this shampoo sit for up to 5 minutes on my hair, I should have waited longer. After about 3 washes I could tell a difference on my hair. It took longer for the my hairline to not be so red anymore. I followed with a deep conditioner and my hair looks great.

for a backstory, I got my hair lightened and did not like how I looked with a lighter shade of hair, for months I packed on brown dye to cover up the orange but nothing stuck, my goal is to grow my natural hair out without looking crazy for having a straight line of orange hair, I completely forgot I could actually tone the orange so I ran to target for this product, some reviews made me skeptical but I tried it regardless. after the first was I immediately noticed a difference I haven’t felt so happy with a product in so long, I feel so relieved that I can finally rid myself of the orange. I use it on wet hair in the shower, I us shampoo first, get it sudsy in my hair, then clip the hair up and leave the product on throughout the shower. It truly has worked wonders if you are looking to get rid of orange you need to try this, I can’t recommend it more!!!!! the picture below is after 3 washes leaving it on about 7-10 minutes each!

I bought this hoping it would take the orange and brassy tones out of my hair. It says results in only 1 wash but that absolutely didn't happen! So disappointing. I saw zero change at all after using this shampoo and conditioner and can't believe this company makes this claim how great it is when my hair looks the exact same as it did before from using their over priced products. What a waste of money. My hair as you can see is literally brassy as can be and this product has done NOTHING for me. Thumbs down 👎

The shampoo worked well, especially for the price. I am a dark blonde/light brunette with some grays. I used L'Oreal Nutrisse Dark Blonde Creme with Drew Barrymore on the box. My hair looked great, but a bit too reddish. This shampoo worked great at toning down the reds. I highly recommend it.

Too messy to be used as a shampoo gets almost everywhere and splashes everything blue. The smell is also really strong and burns your nose, this would have been better as a mask. I will say I’ve used the blonde version of the shampoo and loved it but this one was strangely irritating

I will say this made a difference but it also made my hair fall out like crazy! Maybe I left it in too long or maybe it’s because I applied it dry. But I’ve never had something make my hair fall out so bad and quickly. Got real scary for a second

Lifesaver! One of the best hair care purchases I have ever made! With rising prices, my paycheck doesn't go far enough to keep up with professional color services, and I want to highlight to slowly transition to grey, but my roots aren't there yet so a lot of the highlighting turns orange - esp since I am too scared to process long times and risk the breakage I had at the hands of seeing a colorist every few months. This blue shampoo is a game changer. I was using purple conditioner without getting results - but this is the proof after one washing and leaving it in my hair for slightly less than 10 minutes followed by K18 leave-in. It smells good too and I did use a glove to protect my hand and manicure. For reference my 56 y/o hair is fine and thinning and I brushed in highlights using a mix of 20-30 developer from Ion and their lightning cream.

I used this product on my hair and it stained the lighter pieces of my hair blue. I’m a natural brunette with no bleach, and this product dyed my hair blue for days even after using multiple methods to try and get it out. You’re better off spending more money on a higher quality product than this.

I did a test strand on a human hair extension I have that is the same color as mine to see how it toned the brassiness. I put in on one section of towel dry hair, left it on for 10 minutes. You can clearly see the darker section where it toned out the brassy color. Exactly what I wanted. I used the same process on my hair and had similar results. This will stain your scalp, it does contain blue color. So just be mindful when you apply. Really happy with the results. I have also used the purple and wasn’t seeing a result, tried it on the same piece of extension and you can’t see it because the purple neutralizes yellow and blue neutralizes the orange.

This shampoo leaves residue on my scalp, I use a shampoo brush to massage my scalp too and it still leaves the residue. I noticed a few days after washing my hair that my scalp became flakey and itchy, I itched and I get a mix of flake and blue stuff in my nails. I was teriffied. I've never had such a build up of product before, it was so scary and such a waste of money
