[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so glad to have this as it makes shredding 4-6 pounds of cheese a week much faster and it’s helpful with veggies. I will say, it kinda gets clogged and/or bogs down a bit which is somewhat frustrating (freezing the cheese first helps). Other than that, it’s a great appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item as a gift. I can really appreciate the products ability to dice, slice and grate foods. However, I do think to be labeled a true food processor. This product could have an additional feature to make it such. I have a great idea for this!!💡

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's kinda oversized for the purpose. I thought it would be a container that I could actually use it as a food processor. But it's more just a slicer & grater. I sadly regret getting it. Otherwise the high quality kitchen aid name stands true with it.

Not Worth the Hype

I had high hopes for the KitchenAid food processor, especially considering the brand's reputation, but unfortunately, this product did not live up to expectations. First and foremost, the feed tube is way too small – even something as basic as a cucumber doesn't fit, and trying to process three carrots, as shown in the promotional pictures, is practically impossible. This makes the product not very practical for everyday use in a busy kitchen. No way this was designed by a woman who spends time in the kitchen. As someone who enjoys cooking but doesn't have hours to prep, I found this to be a huge frustration. Additionally, the processing time is painfully long. For example, it took hours to process a cabbage properly, which is completely unacceptable for a modern food processor. On a positive note, the colors are nice, and the design is visually appealing, but this doesn’t make up for the poor performance. I would not recommend this food processor to anyone. It’s simply not practical or efficient for serious kitchen tasks, especially for anyone who needs to prep food quickly.

Don't use it for grating carrots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a smaller food processor that my husband mostly uses to grate carrots for making carrot cake. It created chunks of carrots and he had to run them through our old food processor to get them to the texture he wanted. It's a great idea, but didn't work as hoped. We haven't tried it on anything else and so can't comment on other uses.

Dicing is good for carrots but not for potatoes or onions. Onions can't get diced at all, potatoes have to be cut in narrow pieces. Generally it doesn't help prep at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Black Friday for an early Christmas present. It works great a d sa es me a ton of time. The only issue I have had is when slicing beets and sweet potatoes something catches the clear plastic shield at the bottom of the feeder and has cut pieces of it off. Otherwise it works great!

I was so excited with my food processor attachment so I could eliminate having a separate food processor. This attachment is NOT a food processor. It is a slicer only. I mainly use a food processor to purée, etc for butter, mayonnaise, etc. There is no S blade and no way to keep the ingredients in the “processor”. Now I have to buy a separate food processor. Love my mixer and my other attachments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had nothing but problems the main unit first froze up they sent replacement the second replacement it’s adjustment lever froze they sent another replacement haven’t had it very long yet waiting to see if it works or breaks down. I still have several months until my year warranty expires. Hopefully it will not have problems (holding my breath) if it breaks after the warranty my husband is going to take it apart to see what the design faults are.
