Q: Is this completely lead free? I'm still annoyed I had to purchase stainless steel attachments for my mixer due to lead.
submitted by Erin - 1 year ago
A: Hi Easym, KitchenAid adheres to lead safety guidance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Canada's Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA), and the European Commission. It is a fact that aluminum alloys can contain trace levels of lead

I received this as a gift for Christmas and have used it a total of 5 times. After delicately handwashing the bowl and attachments this chopper has been treated like you would a new born baby. Now imagine my surprise when I went to chop onions and the blasted machine stopped working. I gave it a full charge and let it rest. After all that the machine still won’t work. After contacting customer service their only advice to me was “to recycle it” since I do not have a receipt (again this was a Christmas gift so of course I do not have the receipt). I was also told that they do not service these choppers. Which is such a waste to throw the whole device away simply because of one issue (in my case the motor malfunctioning). So you are SOL if the machine breaks as they won’t fix it. I am a loyal kitchen aid customer with every appliance in my kitchen being with this company. I am so disappointed in this device and had such high expectations (that kitchen aid sets). Kitchen aid quality and customer service has significantly declined in that last few years and I’m so disappointed. I guess it is time to become a dedicated Ninja customer since kitchen aid is going down hill.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago to supplement my big kitchen aid food processor. It does a wonderful job chopping fresh herbs, a couple of onions or peppers. It is fast and convenient for small jobs. It is easy to clean. It is surprisingly light and it holds its charge a long time. I am very happy with this processor.
Fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cordless chopper is so handy and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. My kitchen is complete. Easy to use, easy to wash and sits beautifully on my kitchen bench top. I recommend this product and love the pourer on top for making pesto and dips. You won’t be disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cordless chopper is something I never knew I needed. This was especially helpful when I made carrot care and shredded hard carrots altogether, it came out finely chopped and consistent! And because it was cordless, I didn’t fuss over using my KitchenAid mixer and unplugging it. Amazing little machine! It’s also compact and easy to clean and store. Compact but strong, exactly what I need to make my life easier (and save my carpal tunnel wrists!). Thank you heaps KitchenAid!
Just what I needed

I was not so sure about the idea of cordless kitchen tools but this food processor took me to another level of kitchen experiences. It makes you life in the kitchen so much easier, cooking becomes a pleasure. Design and good quality is an undeniable pro here as well. This purchase is a great choice, I recommend it to anybody - busy moms and gadget lovers will love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Adds good vegetables to stews, soups, casseroles. Food easily digestible for kids and older folk too. Easily uses leftover veg sitting in fridge which can be left there. Keeps its charge for longer than I expected.
Wish I had bought this earlier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The food processor completed my collection of all three cordless products and my only regret is not getting it sooner. The first time I used it my husband commented how powerful it sounds and it truly is. The kitchen aid brand lives up to its reputation consistently and I would not only get this again but I would buy anything else they make cordless!
