This is our first KiwiCo box and it was so much fun! We got the astronaut kit. And it wasn’t just the project. It came with a poster of the solar system as well as a guide on how to be an astronaut. My 5 year old loved it. Can’t wait to try another KiwiCo box.

There were so many cool learning and interactive parts of this box! My son is almost 6 and loved every part. He's really into space, so creating the 3D model was very appealing and getting to design it by painting adds into the fun of him making it himself. He also loved the rocket launching! The kit comes with a lot and everything you need. There's a certificate included in the box that when all steps are complete, he received. We spread it out over a weekend. Such a cute idea to make learning fun. It's a must for space loving kids because then they have these cool things to display in their room.

This kit is very cool and very educational. I’d definitely recommend for any astro / astronaut lover. They can paint the planets and learn so much. Make it a family fun night. Quality is great too! 10/10!

What a great STEM project. It comes with everything you need to create our solar system and a rocket to fly over it. Easy instructions for kids to follow and assemble. There is cute a journal folder that holds information on being an astronaut. No need to get paint or a brush it's all included.

Solar system kit is amazing way to learn about planets for little ones. Kids enjoyed painting the planets and as well as setting up the system. It’s a great rainy day project and kept them busy for hours.

This is such a great learning toy. Me and my daughter had lots of fun putting this together. I like that you can build a solar system model and a little rocket ship. This set also include a little poster, instructions, materials and even a little guide about the solar system. So informative and awesome.

My kids are total space nerds, and when we saw this we had to grab it! Its a small diorama of the planets that the kids get to paint ans build. It rotates pretty well, too! My kids loved looking up what colors to paint the planets (gas giants, ice planets, oh my!), ans my oldest did a fantastic job putting it together. This was a family affair (4 kids, aged 5 to 10), which we highly recommend! And the shooting rocket (blasted off by air pressure) was a sweet bonus for my son!

Attempted to do this with my godson as the other kids weren't interested. He has trouble focusing and sitting still so the painting aspect wasn't enjoyable for me (paint got everywhere but didn’t expect anything less. It was easy to wash off.) He really liked the little rockets though both were lost within the day. I like the educational side of it and if your child loves space they will love this kit. It has a journal with instructions and does actually have everything you need so no need to run out to get something.

This kit is so cute and keeps kids entertained. My son finished it before I could get pictures but he was so excited to show his friends. It even taught him all the planets and what they look like. I will definitely be buying more Kiwico products.

This was a super fun kit to put together with my kids. They enjoyed the entire building process and the instructions were very easy to follow. I love how it’s educational and kept them engaged. The final product was sturdy enough to go back to and look at again.

Got this Build and Learn Astronaut kit for my children to learn more about our solar system and visualize where the planets are located in relation to the sun. My children are 12, 10, 9, and 7 years old and they all enjoyed this activity kit. There were two instruction guides; one to build the solar system and the other to build the astronaut shuttle launch. Instructions were clear with step by step art work. My children competed the activity without any parental help in about an hour, but there was four of them so it might take longer for just one child. Materials are good quality. The shuttle launch works and was fun for my kids to press on the blue pump to see one of the shuttles shoot up. I only deducted one star for not having more paint colors available and the poles to stand the planets on are a little flimsy.

We love kiwico. My son is obsessed with anything space related, so this was perfect for him. We love that it came with two projects. One was a model of the solar system and the other showing how a rocket takes off. There was a booklet with stuff inside including a poster of the solar system which was pretty cool. Very happy with this box. Kept my son busy.

This was such a fun kit to do with my 8 and 6 year olds. They really liked painting the planets. We easily assembled it together. I have several books on space and paired them with this project. Now they’re asking for a telescope for Christmas. Including a photo of the labeling on the arms because that’s sort of hard to see in the other pictures. So cute!

This was a fun and engaging project for myself and my 8 year old son. He was immediately drawn in with the enclosed Astronaut Kit which contained info on the planets and all the pieces to the craft. We did the solar system setup. There is another craft inside but haven't done that one yet. We enjoyed the easy instructions and reading fun facts as we painted each planet. Would recommend as a fun family project!

This is such an excellent product! Our 8 year old daughter had a great time going through each of the activities and was able to do most of it independently. The materials were good quality and instructions were easy to follow. It’s an awesome learning activity!

My kids enjoyed this product right away and stayed busy doing this. They were proud of the result in the end and asked for more “science projects” my son enjoyed the rocket part and how it shoots up in the air.

This was such a kit to put together with my 5 year old girls. It's a toy that I can feel good about getting for my kids because they are going to learn a few things during the process. The added benefit is that they are still enjoying playing with the rocket launcher 2 weeks after they built it, so the play value is there too. Highly recommend this as a birthday or Christmas gift this year. Note - this was hands on and interactive. I would recommend that a parent is involved in the building process. KiwiCo does a nice job of giving you extra parts and pieces for those times you screw up and don't follow the directions 100%

Wow this is a nice little steam astronaut set! It helped my child learn about Astronomy. It comes with great easy to follow instructions. My child had a blast painting each planet and the rocket launcher is so much fun. It was easy for my eight year old to build.
