Dried out

As many other reviews have said, this product is dried out and cannot be applied. I ordered one online, and the pigment stick stuck to the lid, broke, and fell out when I first tried to use it. I put the stick back in, then realized it was dried out and unusable. No matter how hard I applied the pencil on the back of my hand, only the faintest shadow showed up. A delicate eye lid is not where I would even attempt to apply this.
I figured this was a dud, so exchanged it instore for another one, but tried the instore tester first to see what the product was supposed to feel like. The tester glided on easily. When I tried the new eyeliner, the same thing happened: the stick fell out and was completely dry and unusable.
I don't undersrand why the tester would perform so much differently than the actual product customers receive, but this eyeliner is terrible. Buy any other eyeliner in the store before getting this one.

Color doesn't glide. Gel crumbles once you apply it.
Bought twice and was dried out

I bought this item in store and got home to use it, it was so dry it tore up my eyelid. I went to return it and I had to swap it out for a new one instead of a refund, which is what I wanted. The new pencil worked once then the rest of it was just as dry and actually split apart, came out of the pencil. I was not given a receipt to return the second one since it was a swap.

I purchased the shades "Pyrolusite Brown" and "Tigereye Brown" because I wanted my eye makeup routine to be quick and easy. Doubling eyeliner as eyeshadow for days when I want more dimension was my goal but these eyeliners are so dry! They tug on the eyes and are patchy/uneven like dried up crayons from 20 years ago. "Pyrolusite Brown" dried up completely with zero pigment when swatched and the whole stick fell out of the packaging while "Tigereye Brown" yielded more color but I really have to layer and forcibly press the liner onto my lids (no thanks). I ended up throwing both eyeliners away and thank goodness I got these on sale because the regular price for these are not worth the quality.
Super dry

This is the first time I try this product. When I opened the eyeliner to test it, the entire liner fell out of the tube. I took the liner and pushed it back into the tube so I could use it. The product itself is super dry and it scraped my eyelid going on, there is hardly any color payout.
Well, not glide dried

I used to love this product- however it seems less pigmented & does not seem as dark ( and yes, I got the darkest dark). Heard that KCD sold her company- so all i could think or imagine was that she sold the quality of the products w/ it.

I bought both the brown and the black liner. The brown liner was hard and I ended up throwing it out. Definitely don't recommend it. The black liner was easier to apply and did not last. Don't recommend either
Dont buy!

I purchased blue and brown, but once I tried to use them my soul cried at the wasted expenditure. They are so dry, not creamy at all. They tug at the skin, and require an uncomfortable amount of pressure in the sensitive eye area to get even a modicum of product applied. Save yourself the wailing and gnashing of teeth from being victimized by corporate cosmetics overlords who care about money and not pride in product.

I do not often write reviews, but I felt I had to with this particular product. The eyeliner was so dry I wasn't able to get anything close to the pigmented blue in the picture. When I tried to blend it crumbled off, AVOID

It’s like drawing a piece of plastic across your eyelid and trying to get some color to come out of it. Worked in the store when I put it on my wrist, trash at home. Total trash.
Absolutely disappointing!

Let me preface this review by saying that I absolutely love the KVD Tattoo Liquid eyeliner, one of the best out there; and I've tried MANY of them.
However, this "gel" eyeliner is absolutely horrendous for a number of reasons:
1. You cannot sharpen the pencil
2. It doesn't flow across the lid, it pulls at the lid.
3. It doesn't deposit any payload until you really pull/tug at the lid and even then, it doesn't line.
All in all, it was a complete waste of money. I'm unable to use or return it, as I purchased during a sale and threw away the box.
does not go on easily or smoothly

I purchased 4 of these during the Spring Sale. I got 4 different color types: Trooper Black(standard matte black), Azurite Blue(bright Cobalt matte blue), Jadeite Blue( soft light matte sky/baby blue) and Pearlspar White(pearl white). 3 out of the 4 of them are still cream and pretty budge proof. The Azurite Blue has completely dried out and isn't usable. I'm not sure if it was a bad batch or was old when it was sent to me. I don't recall having issues when it arrived. For a product that says to replace after 12 months....it hasn't lasted half the time.

Ordered black and a dark green and both were completely dry when they arrived. Ripped eyelashes out trying to apply it. There's no pigment. Do not recommend.

This was so dry right out of the box and requires so much pressure to apply that I can't safely use it on my eyes. Huge disappointment, this formulation shouldn't even be available for sale. Don't waste your money.
