A: It ships from Target, but 99% chance it will be in a DESTROYED Lego box. They did not even ship mine inside another box so it opened and things were lost in shipping.

Beautiful colors. Missing some pieces that I ended up building over. Shackeltons ship also had missing pieces, which Lego supplied. Frustrating part is having to stop building until replacement pieces arrive.

Overall, an amazing build, with some interesting and sometimes amazing design tricks. And if regular Lego sets can still be considered "just toys," this one, in particular, is a masterpiece. The fact that this set can be legitimately considered a work of art and a great decorative piece already means a lot. If you love Van Gogh and you love Lego, there is no excuse for not investing your time in this set.

Once completed, this is a beautiful set. However, getting the ‘painting’ to fit the frame is nearly impossible. The completed set is extremely heavy and it is not realistic to hang it. It sits very precariously on my shelving unit.

Van Gogh is one of my favorite artists. When I saw Starry Night as a Lego project I couldn't resist. I did the build in one cold rainy day. The tricky part is all the blue. There are four different shades of blue used and when looking at the instructions it was sometimes difficult to tell which blue brick was needed. But I believe I completed it with no errors, at least no obvious ones. Very happy with my purchase and the process

I was SO excited to try this Lego set but all I got building it was frustration. The pieces fall off so easily after you put them together and the frame complete popped out from my picture and I had to completely rebuild the set. I’m afraid to even hang it because of how heavy it is. I think this product needs a design redo because the picture and the frame shouldn’t be coming apart after building it.

I'm 72 years old and this is my first Lego build. I have given Lego sets dozens of times to my sons and grandchildren but never built one myself. Starry Night is so beautiful I had to try it. It took me a long time to build but a more experienced person would have no problem with the tiny pieces. There were no missing pieces and a few extras included for good measure. It is very heavy so I probably won't hang it on the wall but stand it on my bookcase instead. This is a superb design and I am very pleased with it.

This set was so fun to build. My first time running into multiple bags with the same number on the bag (multiple bags with the number 1 etc). Made for some frantic moments when I was missing half the pieces for the first step. Besides that the build was so much fun. Enjoyed the difficulty of it and the attention to detail.

The LEGO 3 D version of Starry Night is brighter than the actual painting but the blue hues are very pretty. Love the artist mini-figure. The build is fairly easy but some bricks from the frame keep falling off so I can’t hang it on the wall and has to be placed on a table or shelf.

There were 3 pieces i was short on. Of course it's part of step 8 and now I can't finish. Not interested in trying to get the pieces at this point. The instructions were terrible for the color scheme. The colors are so similar you need very good lighting to hit every detail. This was the one set I wanted to present for all to see. Now it'll end up dismantled shoved in a box someplace.
