Matter Compostable Tall Kitchen Trash Bags - 13gal/40ct

I'm so glad that they make this product. I feel like I'm making a small difference with putting less plastic out into the world using these compostable bags. They are strong and do not rip. I really like the way they feel, smooth. On each bag there's a message about composting which I find interesting and such a great way to remind us to be more conscious of the environment. This is a great product and will continue to get these.

These trash bags are great! They are very durable and you can feel the thickness right away- they feel like a good quality bag- not one that’s going to rip while you carry it out. A very good option if you’re looking for ways to reduce the impact of your garbage. I wish the bags were separated in the box- a very minimal complaint but I like when I don’t have to tear them apart. The perforation is fairly easy to locate at least.

These very nice and sturdy trash bags. I have done filled these bags to the brim with heavy outside brush and cleaning these bags stood up the job the didn’t tear when filling or lifting. I have also used them for just everyday use they definitely stand up for the toughest jobs! I would definitely recommend for indoor or outdoor use.

These trash bags are great if you compost or want to start. They fit a tall kitchen can, so they can hold a lot. I haven’t had any issues with them tearing. They seem as strong as the plastic bags I use for regular garbage. I was very pleased with these.

These bags are very strong and non scented. They fit perfectly in my kitchen trash can and I really like how they're compostable, I wouldn't have guessed. Only negative thing about these is there's no strech to them so I feel like I waste more bags.

I recently tried these 13 gallon waste bags by Matter. Definitely loved that they are compostable and better for the planet. They are easy to store, tear and fit perfectly in my kitchen trash can. I didn’t experience any leaking or tearing issues but will say that they don’t have that nice stretch factor that other brands are known for. I felt odors were contained well when the bags were closed. Would buy in future if on sale.

I really like these bags. They are easy to put in my trash can and stay in place. They hold all our trash great, they don't rip. The have pull handles, which tightens the top and ties the bag shut. They are scent free.

I was skeptical about these bags when I ordered them but decided to take a chance and I'm glad that I did. These bags are deceptively strong. They have a smoother texture than regular plastic and do not easily rip. I'm impressed with these bags and will order them again.

Matter Compostable tall kitchen trash bags are very think and durable. Quality is exceptional.Value is great for price per bag. This is not a weak built trash bag. It can hold a good amount of trash without the bag coming apart. It is a top tie bag but flaps give ample room.

I extremely impressed with the quality of these bags: they are very resistant, sturdy and perfect for compostable purposes. They have a great size and the drawstring works amazingly. No leaks nor cracks at all.

We really like these compostable trash bags. The packing is really nice and sturdy and easy to open. The bags themselves are stronger than you’d think. They’re durable, can hold a lot and the strings are easy to pull and tie.

They have the feel of real plastic but I love that they are compostable. Size is great and draw string handles are perfect to use in my kitchen garbage. Overall I am happy with these trash bags and will likely look at other compostable options.

I guess I’m going to have to get used to the feeling of these new compostable bags. I don’t really the feeling of these but they do hold up and get the job done. I’m using them as trash bags in the kitchen so I’m adding more to them.

These are big and somewhat sturdy trash bags. IF you do not have anything wet going into your trash can. I have two trash cans in my kitchen area. The one that got wetter stuff in it dripped horribly when I pulled the bag out of it. The other one, without kitchen waste had paper type products, etc, was fine. The bag held up great. Tie handles are especially good with these. Easy to use. The roll in the box as not pre-cut and so had to be torn at the perforations on each one. I had no trouble doing that, but it was kind of a small annoyance to not be able to just pull one of of the roll and have it ready. You have to pull the bag out, find the perforation and carefully tear it off the next bag. Turning the bag as you tear along the strip. I lowered the rating on these due to having to mop my kitchen floor after pulling the one bag out of the can and it making a mess on the floor when I sat it down to get the other one. The idea is great. The bags are great....if you do not use anything wet in them.

I was nervous to try these out compared to the regular bags we use in our home. But they held up great and were strong and held even a little more than what we usually use. There is no scent to these, but it’s nice to know that these will break down when going to the landfill. They have a soft texture to them and fit well to the lid of a can. Overall would recommend making the switch.

There trash bags are great . Really thick and sturdy didn’t tear when taken out of the trash can . Very easy to open don’t stick together like cheaper ones . Very good value for the cost. Would recommend .

I love the concept of these trash bags. They are made from sustainable and renewable materials, and will compost in soil in a matter of months. I also like that these trash bags are non-scented, strong, and easy carrying with the drawstring design. They fit my 13-gallon garbage cans perfectly. They are not only good for trash cans, but also great for outdoor clean up and clothing/ toy donation.

These bags are awesome. The plastic feels heavy duty and still has some flexibility to it. So far they have been leak proof and hold up well for use in the kitchen and bathroom. I was able to stuff the bags FULL with out tearing, when I was going throught my clothes this last week. Compared to other brands

I never thought I would love a trash bag this much. My picky husband even commented how he really likes them and how strong they are. When I told him they are split resistant he said that made sense and gave the bag a tug proving the point further. An added benefit is that they are earth friendly. We will definitely be buying these over and over again.
