I found the texture of this primer to be slightly chunky. I also found that my typical eyeshadows had a very hard time blending on top of the primer.

I have sensitive eyes and this product caused irritation. My eyelids are swollen after using this. I also found that this product didn’t help my eyeshadow stay on at all. My eyeshadow looked a mess in just a few hours. I don’t recommend this product at all. Waste of money.

I've used this eyeshadow primer for years. I've tried others, but I always come back to Milani. The instructions say to "generously apply" however, I find less is more. A little dab will do. Makes my eyeshadow last all day, never creases. I highly recommend Milani eyeshadow primer!

I bought this primer a few years ago and I loved it. It lasted forever. When I finally replaced it, it made my eyes break out in an itchy scabby awfulness for days. I suspected the primer, but stopped using all products on my eyes for about a week until it cleared up. Then I used it again (no other products) and my eyelids are itching like crazy and the skin is getting all crusty again. I wish they kept the formula the same as it used to be. Now I'll have to go back to the urban decay primer. Bummer.

I have oily eyelids and this is the only product that actually works for me. I used to use Smashbox's primer but it's discontinued and I've been struggling to find a replacement. Lucky for me since Milani is a fraction of the price :)

I have oily skin amd VERY oily eyelid. I couln't keep any eyeliner for more than 30 minutes, even the longwear, waterproof. Would last me 2 hrs if I add a layer of powder. and with primer, maximum 6 hrs. With this primer, I can make it last for over 12 hrs.

This stuff WORKS! I have had oily skin, and thus oily eyelids, my whole life. I’ve tried different primers, including pricier ones from department stores. Some would work for awhile, but I hadn’t found anything that didn’t crease for the long haul. Until now! I’ve been using this Milani primer for maybe a year or more and it ALWAYS works. Never creases. And I’m still using the first tube I purchased! I’ve been wearing make up for nearly 30 years, and am so happy I no longer have to think about my eyeshadow creasing by the afternoon. :)

You will never need another eyeshadow primer. This is amazing for my sensitive eyes and has been the only eyeshadow primer I have used for years. I was researching about eye primers because I've noticed that lately my eyeliner doesn't stay put on my eyelids (even though it says it's budge proof). So, I started with this one because it was highly rated online. For the price, this is totally worth it, if you're on a budget. I would say, definitely follow the directions to ensure you get the best results. One time, I didn't and my eyeliner smudged. My only complaint about this is that your eyelids do feel a little dry but I think that's the point, so that your eyeshadow and other eye products don't budge.

I applied this primer over my usual La Mer cream, with no other products on my eyelids. As soon as I put it on, it started to sting and burn. It was mild, so I (stupidly) figured I'd just rubbed to hard or something - even though I patted it on with the pads of my fingers. The rest of the day, my eyelids itched like crazy. After a couple of hours, they looked far, far worse than they do without anything at all on them. Thankfully, it went away when I washed this awful stuff off after a few hours. I've never had this kind of reaction to any primer of any kind. I can't recommend this, even if you've never had sensitivities before. This could be your first, too!

This product works on my oily skin. Once the product dries there’s a beautiful base color. Sometimes I don’t wear any eyeshadow with it, but if I do my eyeshadow stays on for at least 8 hours.
