Mobi Non-Contact Digital Infrared Thermometer

This thermometer worked ok at first, we liked the convenience of it. Overall we noticed that getting consistent read on it was hard to do. I'm not talking slight differences, I'm talking jumping between a reading of 99-102 using the same method and same body placement. Further, we kept this safely stored in a dry place at home, and when I opened our cupboard this morning, I found black charred pieces covering everything. These are the batteries that came with our thermometer, and one clearly exploded. The spring was even dislodged and the device was pulled apart in the process. Very scary, and very disappointed.

I had such a hard time finding a non rectal thermometer that actually works. The one I received as a gift at my baby shower never accurately got a reading. I decided to try this one and love how easy to use it is. The results are accurate (compared to doctors readings) and I just love how the color changes based on temperature reading (red for a fever). The readings are so quick that even the squirmiest of kids can’t get away.

It worked fine for one year then nothing. I went to change the batteries and nothing still it does work it was in a drawer nicely inside there is no reason other than it's defective.

The readings are never accurate. You can take a temperature 5 times and they’re never the same reading. Always ridiculously low impossible temperatures. I have ZERO confidence in the readings. Feels very cheaply made.

It was always two degrees off from the rectal thermometer. Keeping it just in case.

It turns red if it detects a fever and turns orange if the temperature is elevated. And it starts green when it detects a normal temperature.

Pay close attention it’s hard to see how each one connects. I had to change them around a couple times. Then I finally noticed positive and negative. The screen is very bright and large numbers. The trigger is easy to use. Perfect for a little one and also for testing the kids before school starts each day.

That said, my views come from someone who has no previous comparisons to make. It's been super easy to use; just pick it up, press the trigger at ~4 inches from the area of skin you want to get a reading from and I get a response almost instantly. It also seems quite accurate, as my wife has always roughly been 1 degree cooler than me and it picked that up right away. My biggest complaint is that it feels cheaply made. There are 3 buttons on the side of the unit that have words etched into them that are barely visible except in the right light, the battery compartment is flimsy, and it is extremely light though not in a good way. I don't have a lot of confidence that this device will last a long time. However, it's accurate, fast and intuitive. If only it was made a little better I'd give it a higher rating.

I appreciate that this product included batteries. We tested it on several members of our family and it was very accurate. I like that this product can be used to take temperature of a room, person and even food. I used it to test my babies food and it worked perfectly. I highly recommend to any mothers out there!

The Mobi non contact inferred thermometer has been just that! It’s easy to read, the screen is the perfect size, and it changes color to let you know when there is a temperature. Another feature I like is that it can store readouts from the last temperatures it has taken. You can use it in Fahrenheit or Celsius. We have been using this everyday since we got it because both my fiancée and I have to taken our temperatures for work, we have noticed it reads accurate, and we haven’t experienced anything wrong happening to it. We now feel safe having a thermometer we can rely on!

It’s the perfect size to take with you with you go anywhere. I like that it takes your temperature fast. This is the best thermometer I have ever used. I would recommend it to anyone.

It's unfortunate, but the third digit doesn't fully display, nor does the color background work. I can hardly tell what temperature it is reading and I am surprised I could get to the point of actually measuring temperature.

This is a solid choice when it comes to digital thermometers. The display is large and easy to read. You can turn the sound on or off. If you leave the sound on and have a fever it beeps clearly warning you your temperature is too high. The display is also color coded, green is good, yellow a little too warm, red is definitely a fever. It also has a smiley face system. Frowns is fever and smile is good. This thermometer could be used by literally anyone and they would understand if they are in trouble or need medical intervention. The reading is also super quick, push the trigger a couple seconds and you’ve got your reading. It also has a surface temperature function so you can check a surface instead of your body. I haven’t used that yet but it’s a neat feature. Probably the most important aspect is the accuracy of the reading. I compared it to my oral thermometer I’ve been using for years and it was spot on. All in all I love this thermometer.

The set up process was as easy as putting the included batteries in. There are three buttons on the thermometer one to alternate modes (body/surface Temp), one to turn off/on the volume, and the middle one to show previous temperature reading history. The reading is instant and precise without having to touch anyone. I fully recommend this device.

I really like how the display lights up green, orange, or red depending on your temperature. As long as it’s green, I’m good to go to work. All you need to do is put it about an inch away from your forehead then push the button, it’s that easy. This is a super easy to use, very accurate thermometer. I’m impressed and would recommend to anyone!
