Pathetic little paper code dials and miniscule uv to read secret writing from a very small pen. A few pieces of paper with assignments and notebook totally flimsy

What a fun and engaging way for kids to learn! Both of my kids really enjoyed this. I love anything that is fun for them but also educational at the same time. This would make a great gift as well. Highly recommend!

Lots of fun and was very easy to spread out over multiple days or finish in one sitting. The quality of some of the items was a bit low (the paper cards ripped easy and the periscope was really small), but overall it was a ton of fun!

My kids always love being spies! I thought this kit would be perfect! Sadly there’s not very much that unique to this kit. The glasses have small mirror like areas to see behind you and there’s a small device to see around angles. Both are made very cheaply and aren’t very exciting. The decoder is very simple and made of cardboard. There are some missions that come with it but they aren’t very detailed and pretty blah. Overall my 9 and 11 year old were entertained for 10-15 and haven’t touched it since.

My daughter has been absolutely loving playing with this Spy Science Kit! It comes with multiple missions for her to complete using the included spy gear. Her favorite accessory from the kit is the sunglasses that let you see behind you by looking in a mirror inside the sunglasses. So far she’s had hours of fun playing with this kit and still loves it so much!

I am normally a big fan of National Geographic Science Kits, but unfortunately this Spy Kit falls a little flat. The kits usually contain everything you need to do the experiments, but one of the missions is to assemble a spy outfit using the included glasses and clothes and items from around your house. Several of the missions are essentially “go observe xyz”, and don’t really require kids to utilize any of the included gear. My son was able to finish all 10 missions in this kit in about half an hour and was quickly done with the kit when he realized there wasn’t really any fun experiments in it. The kit does have some educational value and could be fun for some kids, but if your kids are used to National Geographic Kits with lots of hands on experimenting this might be a kit to skip.

This National Geographic Spy Science Kit is absolutely amazing! It was their first time to use a periscope and they got so captivated by it. Imagine looking at something through the eyes of somebody else. Also, the pair of rearview spy glasses is awesome! It’s so helpful if you’re walking alone especially at night. I never had any idea that thing exist! The decoder wheels are so great especially in school. I love how it made my kids happy and entertained them a lot. I highly recommend it!
