When applied under makeup, the weightless primer also helps keep makeup looking fresh, for beautiful looks that last all day. This pore-blurring primer is formulated with niacinamide and helps blur the look of pores for a more even complexion. The blurring primer is also free of parabens, mineral oils & dyes, and is non-comedogenic, which means it won't clog pores. After completing your skincare routine, apply a thin layer of liquid primer over clean, hydrated skin. Blend into skin with fingertips & then wait one minute before applying makeup. Did not expect the consistency of this primer to be what it was—felt more like a moisturizer, but very quickly worked to mattify my skin without drying it. I have a very oily t zone and this did nothing for it. Does not "blur" pores and wrinkles like other primers. More just like a lotion.

I am 70 years old with combination skin : oily in Tzone, dry elsewhere, large pores. This product works well to control shine and soften the overall look of skin. It does not settle into small lines or creases. I use it over a light moisturizer or over sunscreen.

I bought this product thinking they just changed the packaging for the original shine control primer. I was so disappointed to find out they completely changed the formula and it is nothing like the old one. It smells terrible and feels like I’m rubbing pure chemicals on my face. It also does absolutely nothing to control shine. The old product smelled amazing and was great at keeping my oily skin shine free. I have been using it for so many years but now I will sadly have to find a new product because this new formula is absolutely terrible. I was hoping this was just repackaging of their previous Shine Control with rice protein primer which has been my holy grail for nearly 10 years for my oily skin. It is not, at all. This product did absolutely nothing to stop the shine or absorb an oil. I wore it indoors for a 3-hour event and my mattofying powder-based make up was practically melting off my face. Beyond that, this product was nearly impossible to get off my skin at the end of the night. I woke up with my skin still feeling tacky in places this was applied. Stay away.

True to its name, it did keep excess shine at bay. I'd say that it seems to last anywhere from half to almost a full day for my skin. It also felt very nice and had a bit of a velvet-like texture after application.

I have combination skin, so sometimes my skin is oily, and sometimes it’s dry. However, when I wear makeup, my skin decides to get oily. With this product, I don’t have that issue. It does such a great job of making my skin look flawless and hydrated underneath my makeup, and it is a great foundation for my makeup to build upon.
