I have to say the base coat and top coat with the colored polish has been the longest wear from other nail systems I have tried. I give Olive and June 5 stars. It’s been a week since I polished my nails. I work for food service and wash my hands constantly and my nails look like I just got them done. No chips, no fading and no broken nails.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The base coast was very thick, goopy and difficult to apply. I ended up having a lumpy, messy looking base coat which in turn led to a lumpy and unattractive manicure. You need to work on the consistency of the base coat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try the O&J gel nail polish because I really like the regular nail polish. However, the gel nail polish is surprisingly thick and it's hard to get a nice even layer on your nail. Moreover, when I put my hands under the UV lamp to cure the nail polish, it ended up melting on my thumb nails before setting so the polish formed a thick drip on one side of the nail (my thumbs tilt a little when my hands are flat on the table). It set fine but the appearance was bad. Also, the nail polish started peeling off my nails in like three days. I'll stick to the regular O&J nail polish unless they change the formula for the gel, because the other brands of gel I use do not have the consistency/melting issue. I added a second star because the colors are really cute!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I‘ve had a bade coat from Olive & June before. This one comes out very thick and made a mess on my nails. I ended up scraping most of it off. Won’t use it again!

Despite following the recommended nail prep before applying the base coat, the gel polish consistently peels off within a matter of a couple days and I keep having to redo my nails. I love the colors I purchased, but the base coat is a no for me.

The gel system is long lasting and strong! No chips even after two weeks! I am more than satisfied with Olive and June!

Still not dry after 10mins under the uv lamp

I love the color that I chose and I used the peel off base for gel. . . . one nail out of 10 popped off after day 1 when I washed my hands. . . . not sure what I might have done wrong to prep my nail bed but others are good so far!

i have bought the press ons before so i knew what to expect but i felt like the gels didnt cure well, i had several lights and all were left feeling tacky and they peeled within days. i use my hands a lot so i kinda expect that but its still unfortunate especially when they say they will last up to 2 weeks with no peeling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved it at first and nails growing. The removal is very hard and time consuming. If not redone immediately nails break easily. The whites of the nail are appearing down to middle of nail. I love the looks of the mani but feel it is damaging my nails.

Waste of money if you’re in a time crunch, it takes an abnormal amount of time for each coat to dry. The colors are cute but if you’re expecting a rock hard coat within 2 minutes, this is not for you.
