I loved that I could quickly wash the fruit and throw it in the container knowing the water will drain instead of needing to dry them off or have them sitting in a pool of water. The size is perfect for small snacking for kids or adults! the lid closes tightly, no need to worry about leaking. Just the best for on the go and storage at home too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These meal prep containers with colander's are fairly well made for the price point. I've had issues in the past with them cracking when taking off the lid, however, this has only occurred after long term use. They accommodate my reasonably portioned meals of a protein, veggie, and a starch. I would recommend this product for anyone who is interested in meal prepping but doesn't want to invest in higher-end Tupperware. I do usually hand wash the container so I cannot attest to their durability if constantly thrown through the dishwasher. I have had no issues microwaving the containers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The OXO Prep & Go Container with Colander is a small container with a colander basket that is removable. The sides of the container are sloped, so the bottom colander is about 3 x 5.5 inches, or less. The container may be used without the colander. The bottom of the container states it has a 1.9 cup or 0.4 liter capacity. A whole number capacity would have made more sense, such as 2 cups, if the container is being used to store a pre-measured ingredient. The plastic top has 2 side hinges that clasp to the bottom of the container on the longer sides of the container to close it. They snap shut relatively easily. The shorter sides do not have clasps that close. The top cover has a blue, silicone, removable seal that fits within the bottom container to close, rather than directly on the bottom container edges. The container fit about four mushrooms or five radishes or a handful of mint leaves. It was not easy to wash the produce and herbs in the colander because it is so small. To avoid the likelihood of keeping the dirt within the colander, I washed the produce first, then placed the washed produce in the container. I did not try to put it in the freezer to see if ice crystals formed on the produce, but this would be a good test to see if it is truly leak resistant. The product is too small to use as a colander, because produce doesn't move freely enough to have the dirt washed off. It is not a very useful product because of the size and difficulty in using the colander to wash produce, so I do not recommend it. It might be more useful if it came in larger sizes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love this prep and go container with colander. I bring it to work with grapes, berries and hard boiled eggs. It's easy to rinse them in the colander and keep the water off by setting back in the container. I can fit 3 hard boiled eggs in the colander and still shut the lid. I can also just take out the colander and use the container to put in soup, or other food products. I especially like the rubber gasket on the lid that makes it leak proof. The seal really holds it shut, even after you open the side clips. When you have it shut and clipped, I feel that I don't have to worry about anything dripping out when it's being transported. I use a large cloth bag to take my lunch into work. I also put my tablet and various drink enhancers, so there is a lot of room for movement, but I've never had to worry when I have this container filled with food. Nothing ever leaks! I also use it in the fridge to store grapes, berries, and other leftovers or fruits. It's the perfect size for on the go. I take out the colander sometimes and bring my oatmeal. It's very versatile, cleans easily and seals shut tightly. I feel the plastic, which is BPA free, is heavy and durable. I have used it a few times in the microwave and it's freezer safe. I would love to have a few other sizes in this container too. I have never had anything from this company that I hadn't liked, and they stand behind their products. This container is great for babies, toddlers or for your lunch. I have nothing but praise for this container and no cons at all.

There's a colander bowl inside that lets you rinse out your berries then put them straight into the container. The lid has a rubber-gasket-style seal that can help keep moisture out (provided they dried enough when they were in the container). My only real complaint is that it's just barely too small for a full pint of berries. I guess if you always eat some straight away, that should be too much of an issue, but it defeated the purpose of having the rinsing basket when I had to rinse them separately anyway since the basket was too small.

You just fill, rinse, pop it into the container and close the lid. The mini colander is convenient, as you don't have to use a separate colander to clean your produce. And as expected from OXO, it's excellent quality.

This removable container makes your preparations so more eaiser, you can rinse and strain etc, with prep & go. This contanier with colander keep your fruit up and out-of its juices for long lasting freshness. But whats even better its a storage container. Prep & Go container with colander is very sturdy and leakproof the silicone gaskets and locking clips are great for keeping your snacks secure. Best yet, it has the best watertight lid that features a window for easy viewing of food. My grandkids and I totally recommmend this Prep & Go container with colander its so much fun when you have fruits and veggies cut up for the little ones, and they can find them in the fridge without knocking everything down.

Once bought I easily wash my mint or coriander in it and chop it later.i also have some snacking peppers which I get and wash in it. This colander is perfect for washing berries. So far I have used the container some left over soup also...the box has amazing locking system. I really this perfect sized box.

The size is perfect. To close just snap and it is sealed. This container is strong and sturdy and keeps the food sealed air tight. I recommend this product.

I find to be very sturdy and many benefits such has microwave safe, freezer safe , hold 1.9 cups, leak proof for the bag and you throw in the dishwasher. I was very please with this colander also look great in the kitchen.
