Okay I rarely write reviews for anything. But this thing SUCKS. It somehow changed combinations by itself in my gym bag and I had to get the staff to cut it off so I could get my stuff out of my locker 🤦♀️ Do not buy this crap.

The lock jammed when I was resetting the code, now it’s useless

Difficult to work, wasn't able to figure it out. Had to return.

Very nice and sturdy. Easy to set the combination. Only problem is that it’s too big for my suitcase.

Nice small basic lock. Now if Master actually had a manual OR told you how to change the combination on their website, I'd rate it more highly. For those who keep asking: Unlock it, turn the u-piece 1/4 around and push down into the slot. Keep it down and turn another 1/4 around. Set the combo to what you want.

Will not cycle through to change the combination! Just seen when I was searching for "help" apparently I am not the only one with this issue! I'd give it less than 1 star if this site would have allowed.

I won’t reset the combination out of the box. Stuck on 0-0-0 still.

The lock itself is great and easy to use. However, it will not work for suitcases since it’s too thick on the lock bar

No manuals for how to change code. Please upload. Very unhappy.

just got it and it is a nightmare to set combo still have not been able to set it

As soon as I opened it and turned it 1/4 to reset the code it wouldn’t go any further and is now stuck. Absolutely terrible.

I’ve had this lock for several months now, and it is perfect for keeping snooping individuals out of my bedroom. I simply bought a metal latch to attach to my door, screwed it in, and the lock attaches to the latch. Haven’t had any items come up missing out of my room since! However, to initially set the combination i do remember it being a bit confusing, and now that I need to reset it, I’ve had to come back to the website to refresh my memory on how to do it. That’s the only downside. Still a great choice, I’m sure it’s just my shotty memory!

The lock only worked once before it stopped working. It won’t open with the code it was changed to or the factory code. Now I have to go buy a grinder or bolt cutter to cut it off. This is not the start I wanted to my vacation.

I just opened this lock, I cannot turn the shackles past 90 degrees to reset the code. it’s just stuck at 000. waste of time, needed it today and will have to be returned. photos the shackle pushed down as hard as possible, not turning. ugh.

Only works a handful of times then it won't open even with the correct code. Or you have to pull on it for 15 minutes before it decides it wants to work.

If you’re looking for a gym lock, this is it. This little study lock is small & light enough to carry in your gym bag (book bag). The numbers are bold enough for you to read also

This lock works perfectly well, and it's great that you set your own combination! You can actually make a code that you will remember. BUT - be aware that this is an extremely small lock - the loop portion anyway. We got this for a suitcase, but it barely fits through the suitcase loops.

This lock is too thick for the hole in the zipper of my suitcase.

original combination set to 0-0-0, when i'm trying to change the digits, not turning to both ways. already watched couple of how to do videos couldnt do anything. gonna return this soon.

Lock combination changed on its own while it was in my bag. Now I'm unable to open or use. Waste of money.
