Q: Are you supposed to have to hold the lid and blue interior part on with your hand whenever you pour? It seems like a bad design as it tries to fall off if I don't hold it. No instructions included.

Q: What's the difference between the PUR 11-cup pitcher and the PUR Plus one?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. The only difference between these two 11-cup pitcher models is the filter that comes in the package with the pitcher (PPF900Z vs CRF950Z). However, please note that all current PUR pitcher filters are compatible with all current PUR pitchers and dispensers. This new pitcher is sleek, slimmer, and has a bigger water capacity at the same time. I am a water aficionado, and I feel like this new upgraded pitcher makes my tap water taste a whole lot better than the old one did. It is easy to place the filters in, just like the old one. And so far, with more than a month of use, I feel like the filter has lasted me a whole lot longer.

I wanted something where I could keep water in my workroom without having to constantly leave to grab some or go through a lot of bottles. It does not take up a lot of space and with its claim of holding 11 cups worth makes it quite convenient. The filtration system is very easy to install and works as stated. The design maybe simplistic; however, it does not take up a lot of room.

This pitcher is very good quality. It’s easy to clean and I love that it has an indicator light at the top of the lid to let me know when it’s time to change the filter. I also love that it holds a good amount of water so I won’t have to constantly be feeling it up. The pitcher did take about 25 minutes to fill up with water, and while that might seem long, I know that the water is in fact being filtered. This is a great purified water pitcher that will fit nicely in anyone’s fridge without taking up to much space.

I have well water where I live and the water does not taste very good even with the filtration system that I currently have in my home. So with using the PUR water pitcher my water tastes much better. I use it every day.
