Q: How the heck do I open the top of this filter pitcher? I feel this is one of those moments where I am missing but I have tried everything and I can not open the pitcher.
A: Thank you for your inquiry. To open the top of the pitcher, please pull up the rubber tab on the top of the pitcher handle and press down on the button under the rubber tab. Q: Why will the pitcher not pour well or consistently? Am I doing something wrong or is it a poor design?
A: I have the same problem. There is no place for air intake to offset the water as it pours out which causes glugging and splashing. the flip lid doesn't function smoothly as others have also reported.

Q: Box indicates Large Easy-Touch Fill Lid but I can’t open. How does it open?
A: Thank you for your inquiry. To open the fill lid, please press on the button located on the lid right next to the handle. That button will open the Easy Fill lid, while the button in the handle will remove the hole lid. Q: I peeled up the handle top rubber part and the button under it is IMPOSSIBLE to press down on. I just pulled up the pitcher top using the rubber part. Broken or bad design?

Q: What model # filter does this pitcher use? I bought the PUR PLUS RF-9999 filter and it is much shorter than the one that came with the pitcher. The instructions that came with it are for an older model.

Q: Which filter does this model use? It doesn't say anywhere on the box. I bought the RF999 PUR Plus filter but, it is a much shorter filter. Instructions that came with the pitcher are for older model. This model isn't even listed on the PUR website
