Q: Is there any update to this product? I have been using this dispenser for over two years and have been facing the same problem of tap breaking and have no choice but to replace it with new one.

A: There is a quality issue with the valve. Same thing happened to mine in 5 months of use. Unacceptable. I also had to purchase a new container. The previous PUR dispenser I had lasted 10 years.

Q: Why is there such a bad smell? I’ve had it for about three weeks and my filter says it’s OK. I’ve washed it out with soap and water. Let it dry before I refilled it and rinsed filter, there’s also no dishwashing instructions anywhere

Unit is great in the beginning, but then has a known defect as you can see by other reviews on this page. The dispenser will start to leak and then you will wake up to water all over the shelf in the refrigerator. Throwing in the garbage. I reached out to the support email that the manufacturer provided in other customer reviews. I did everything asked including providing photos of the lot code and pictures of the unit. They wont help me because I dont have a receipt from July when purchased and its now December. I kept the receipt for 30 days like a normal consumer and then tossed it once the unit seemed to be ok. Thanks PUR for your not great customer service. Guess I will find another way to filter my water and I hope everyone reading this does as well.

I tried to add pictures but this app keeps throwing an error. This water dispenser is perfect and fits in my refrigerator perfectly! It is helping me push myself to drink more water and knowing it is filtered and cold makes it so refreshing! I used to have another Pur water dispenser but this one holds a lot more and is easier to fill up without making a mess. Absolutely love it!!

The spigot started leaking within 10 months of use. Pur does not sell or provide replacement parts, and standard spigots won’t fit, so the dispenser is now unusable and headed to the bin. The filters work well, but Pur’s dispenser quality and lack of concern for product service life makes this a waste of money. I do not recommend

The directions are easy to follow and quick to get through. I really that there’s a light to let you know when you need to change the filter. I’m someone who forgets so that’s a perfect feature for me. The only thing I did notice with this water filter is that it leaked from the spout. The spout is easy enough to use but it does drip a little bit after use. Just something to be mindful of before purchasing. Otherwise, it’s a great filter for the price. Super easy to use and clean.

My old water dispenser was cracked so I was curious to see how this one would compare, although I’ll see how durable this is over time. Overall, size-wise it seems on par with other major brands, although it does have a sleeker design, which is helpful for saving space in the fridge. The water filters through at a decent pace, but it tastes good after. You’d have to wait for the bottom half to fill up and then top it off for it to be at its max capacity as it advertises. Having to remove the whole lid to refill can be an annoyance. I do love the light system for the filter - that’s something I get paranoid about so the visual cue is great! And although you have to soak these filters for longer before use, it helps me feel confident that it’s working on removing the impurities it’s supposed to. I had to try to twist the filter in a couple times though to be sure I locked it in correctly.

I absolutely love this! The flavor of the water is fantastic. I like that the indicator light lets me know when to replace the filter. The previous one I had from the same brand didn't have this feature and I would often go too long before changing. It's wonderful having two so I can have fridge water and room temperature water.

The large size of this water purifier is so convenient because I don’t have to fill it up very often! The narrow profile doesn’t take up too much space in the fridge, but I like to leave mine on the counter for room temperature filtered water to make bread with. Overall I am very pleased with how easy this was to set up, refill and use, and I love that it tells me when to replace the filter! No guess work.

I received this from Influenster for my honest opinion. I have decently hard water. It has some sediment and a lot of iron. I usually use a competitor brand filer system that works pretty well and this cleans just as hood if not a little better. I love the size of this one. It holds alot of water. The spout has a sensor that lights up when you use it. It is suppose to tell you when the filter needs changed, but I have had it awhile now and it still says green. And the water is still clean. I have filtered a decent amount of water through it so I feel it is a great filter. My one star down is for the rate at which it filters. It is so slow. I don't know if the slower it filters the better it filters? But if that is the case, then it works cause it is slow. And the one piece lid design I wasn't a fan of. My other dispenser has a flip up lid at the half mark. That change would give it another half a star. But overall, I do like it's filtering qualities and that's what matters most.

I really wanted to love this 30 cup water purifier from PUR, but it takes SO LONG to purify the water! In the same amount of time, i can fill and purify my normal 7 Cup PUR pitcher 30+ times. I timed it before and after i replaced the filter (just in case it was faulty) It's absolutely bonkers! Instead of waiting an hour or 2 for it to do it's thing, I purify in my 7 cup pitcher and then fill the 30 cup container w/o the water reservoir & filter installed. We get a large amount of clean water with a great spout.

This is pretty nice to have if you don’t already have a water filter installed in your refrigerator or by the sink. The dispenser worked pretty well in the beginning but occasionally water leaks through the front. I like that this product is very slim and minimalistic. It also lets you know when it’s time to change the filter. Overall, this would be a good inexpensive filter for someone who doesn’t want to invest in a more complicated one.

Gives up to 30 cups of water although I prefer to change the water in between, changing the filter is super easy! Fits right into your fridge and is easy enough to just carry outside or with you for any kind of outdoor event! Saves you money on bottled water for sure!
