I was excited to try this out with my soup for lunch. I filled the container with hot soup. When I went to eat it only 4 hours later it was barely luke warm. Very disappointing for such an expensive item.

They are very pretty but they just don’t keep food hot. I’m sad because we now have 2 big ones and 2 small ones. I preheat the metal containers with boiling water. I heat the food to piping hot. Sadly the food is just kind of warm by my kids lunchtime (packed at 7:30 am, lunch around noon). I think it’s the metal caps that cause the issue because they will feel warm to the touch after packing indicating heat transfer. I plan to go back to the Thermos containers we used before. Not as cute but they truly keep things hot.

Love this lil' thermos. I used it today for the first time. I put chicken soup in the 16oz container and used the clear container for blueberries. I traveled with it in my bag on the train for an hour with no leaks or spills. The soup was hot when I ate my lunch and cleanup was super easy. 10/10 would recommend!

I purchased this onyx Eats in a 21oz size. I’ve been using this Eats for a couple? Of months now. I use this size for lunches. I have leftovers from the night before. In the morning I will heat up the container inside real hot w/o the lid. By noon it’s still warm. This size 21oz is good for lunch. For dinner I think you might want to have the small Eats too for a salad,soup or dessert to be full. I have both size’s.

I take lunch with me to work everyday, but don't have access to a way re-heat anything and this bowl works fabulously. I pack my lunch at about 6am and at 12pm, when I come to eat it, it's still warm. It's also the perfect size. At times the lid can be a little difficult to open because it is a wide lidded screw top, but I've never NOT been able to open it. I highly recommend this bowl.

I wanted to love these and bought a whole set. Since the glass inserts hold so much less, it’s not really big enough for a salad or lunch size serving. Great for snacks or breakfast but it’s too big and bulky for the amount it holds and not practical to take on hikes.

I absolutely love the Teakwood set! The color is gorgeous and the prep bowls are perfect to take to work. I pack salad in the 21.5 oz and mixed fruits or nuts in the smaller size. You won’t be disappointed with this fashionable lunch container!

I’m not good with sizes, numbers but it’s so small. I can fit my salad in it but not a meal. When I put hot meal in it example a tuna pasta it’s cold by lunch time. The look is ok but it’s hard to take out the container to eat and I’m worried that it will spill on me when doing so.

I purchased the 21ounce size teakwood bowl. It is beautiful and well made. Unfortunately, it was a gift for my husband and he feels the insert plastic bowl is too small for the portion of soup he takes to the office. It only holds 12ounces. Therefore, I will be returning it.

I ordered the 21 oz to use for lunch and found the lid difficult to open. I use a grip material to open it. I put soup in it and it only stayed warm a few hours, I think I need to heat my soup very hot before I put it in. Also, I accidently dropped the plastic container/lid and the lid now has a small corner chipped off. Was surprised the lid wasn't durable. Is there a replacement for the lid?

My first try with the bowl with with a bierrock right out of the oven. I put it into the bowl and 6 hours later it was cool (note in a cooler backpack with outdoor temp 40). I tested it with hot water and kept it in the house and it was warm. A salad in the container in the backpack was fresh. I think it would be great with overnight oats. I need to do some more testing. I love the dimples on the top for it makes it easy to open.

I bought 2 (1 for me and 1 as a gift) and while the product itself is awesome, well-designed and functional, the sticker on the metal lid of one, had adhered, such that even with careful peeling, it left an unattractive residue which I can’t get off. Really disappointed.
