The nail filler kit is great and so much better than using a nail clipper on a moving baby. The body scrubber is large and helps wash your baby quickly. The brush, comb and smaller brush are a little too hard for my baby. Maybe when my baby gets older and the soft spot on their skull heals I will use it, but for now this gift is a great set.

The Safety First baby’s first spa day kit is a great little bundle of items for all things grooming and pampering for your baby. It includes an electric nail file with a battery included as well which is a great touch, a hairbrush and hair comb, toddler tooth brush, and silicone bath mitten. I will say the included hair brush and hair comb are not entirely usable for my newborn baby, as she has little to no hair and they are a bit hard to touch to her head. In this kit I think it would have been useful to have a soft bristle brush for the newborn stage, while still including the hair comb and hair brush for later on in toddler stage. That was one of the reasons for giving this a 3 star rating versus a 5! The electric nail file is wonderful and very popular amongst mamas these days in their newborn must-haves. So gentle for my little one’s nails while also getting the job done quickly! The tooth brush is not something I would be using until my baby is older as well so that is not really useful yet either, making for another reason for my 3 star rating. However it is nice to have for when I can actually use it. I think this kit makes for a great baby shower gift, especially for first time moms and dads, however as I mentioned it would be better if it included some true “newborn” items so that mom & dad can really pamper their little one for their first ever bath. The first bath makes for such a beautiful bonding experience and becomes a routine in everyday life as parents, so it’s nice to have all the proper items on hand to keep baby clean, relaxed and truly pampered! Personally my favourite component was the nail file. I used this the most out of everything. I think all the items are wonderful to have, however being marketed as baby’s 1st spa day, a few of the items can’t really be used for baby’s actual first bath. It’s geared towards toddlers first spa day, in my opinion! I do appreciate receiving the items nonetheless and look forward to making better use of it all once my newborn is older!

While I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Test Panel and therefore don't know how much the kit would retail for, I do think the nail file alone is amazing value. I love the shape of it and that it comes in a handy case with all the attachments. Incorporating this grooming routine has helped me bond with baby and slow down and appreciate him more as he grows so fast! I think the components of the kit are great, except many components would be better suited for older babies. My little one is only 13 weeks - so the toothbrush and the large handle comb are not super useful yet. I really enjoy the large silicone bath mitt! It has been incredibly helpful as our baby has dry skin. I also really like the silicone hairbrush as it helps scrape off baby's cradle cap. What I liked more about this kit is the nail file and the quality of all the items included. It would make the perfect baby shower gift!

It has all the essentials without being overwhelming, making it super practical for new parents. We’ve been using items from the kit to keep our daily routine consistent (and this is definitely an upgrade from our previous random set of grooming tools). Parent tip: Demonstrating the products on yourself first is a fun trick that is apparently hilarious to a 9-month-old. The soft mitt for cradle cap? Genius. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great first starter grooming set that will be usable long into the toddler stage and right into the Preschooler stage. The set comes with full size products that feel like are made with a long lasting and durable plastic. The set comes with a comb, brush, electric nail file, toothbrush and a scrub glove. The nail file is compact and easy to use. It comes with the nail file unit, 4 different grit nail pads based on the age of your little one, batteries for the file, and a case to hold it all. The different nail files grit pads are labels to distinct between the different ages: dark green 0-3 months, blue 4-11 months, red 12+ months, gray adults, and light green as a polishing buffer pad. The file heads are easy to interchange and the battery compartment has a very secure screw that wont be a worry to fall out. The comb and brush are full size with a large handle. They are very sturdy, easy to use, and easy to clean. The bristles on the brush are soft but firm and make brushing your little ones hair a breeze without being rough on their head. The toothbrush is also full size with a large handle. The toothbrush is sturdy, the bristles are secure and feel as durable as a standard toothbrush. I would say that this is probably not a good first toothbrush if you plan to use this with your infant. Its a little too big and awkward for them to use and I would recommend this more so when they are into their toddler years. The bath mitt is a soft and gentle silicone mitt that has bristles on both sides of the mitt making it able to use on either hand during bath time. The soft silicone is gentle on any little ones skin and should be great for littles with sensitive skin. This is a little difficult to clean if you were to get hair tangled in it. Overall, this is a great grooming set that will last through your little ones different stages of life. This would make a great baby shower gift! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression of this kit was that it look well put together and the packaging was very inviting and made me excited to recieve it. I think the value for what you get is excellent as it contains the necessities for basic bath and grooming needs. I will say the idea of an electronic nail trimmer had given me extreme anxiety and I was very uncertain about trying it. However, after receiving the electronic nail trimmer in this kit I must say I don’t know why I waited so long! Although I still use clippers for trimming length or hangnails the electronic file was so amazing especially at eliminating any of the razor sharp edges baby nails always seem to have! I also LOVE that it comes with color coding pads and that it is for all ages from 0-adult. It is one the whole family can use and benefit from and the case it comes in for storage was a huge bonus. I believe that all the components of this kit are excellent and well thought out. I do feel that although this would be a great baby shower gift it is also geared for older babies in regards to the hairbrush and toothbrush. The hair brush is super nice but not for newborn or early infant hair. The toothbrush is the same that it is for more of an approaching toddler but still feel this would be a great gift for a baby shower or anytime! The nail file is definitely my favorite because it was something I was so hesitant to try but was able to and had a great experience. My sons favorite, aside from the electric file which he thinks is hilarious, is the brush which to him doubles as a teether as seen in the photo. Overall, I am very pleased with this kit and feel it tackles all of the necessities when it comes to baby’s grooming routine. Previously, I had been using nail clippers and twice I accidentally snipped my wiggly babies finger which is so sad. The nail file is very safe and very easy to use. My baby actually enjoys and wants to help hold it. I really appreciate the safety feature of the lock button to unfasten the file heads. I’ve used ones without the locks and my baby tries to put the pieces in his mouth which is a choking hazard. This file was excellent. We also enjoyed the silicone mitt for bath time. It created a great lather. In fact, I think my husband might steal it for himself. At 10 months old the toothbrush was a bit too big for my little guy. He preferred his smaller one, but I’m sure he will grow into it. My baby is a baldy so there wasn’t much to test out with the hair brush. But he really enjoys playing with it during diaper change

It has everything needed for personal hygiene and it even grows with baby. For the price, you really do get a great deal. It comes with the nail filer, 2 baby brushes, a toothbrush for when their teeth come in, and a bathing mit. This kit helped me establish a nice relaxing bed time routine for my LO to help us get accustomed to bedtime. The mit is perfect and a really good size, not too tight on my hands and lets me quickly scrub her down with the large surface area. It is hard to get into smaller spaces like behind her ears because it is fairly large but overall really great size. I primarily used the bristle brush, I do wish it was a little bit softer, my LO doesn’t like her head touched but she got used to it over time. Not much hair so can’t speak to the detangling aspect of it, and no teeth yet but I’m so glad I don’t have to go out and buy a toothbrush I have everything I could need! My favorite thing about this kit is the nail filed, it is super compact and on top of that it comes with extra pads for filing. They are separated by age range and it takes all the anxiety out of cutting her nails. The extra pads is a nice bonus because they do wear out overtime and little baby nails grow so quickly! Extra bonus it comes with batteries so no need to dig around for them! It does feel like a one stop shop making it the perfect gift for all baby necessities! I liked the packaging and that you could directly see the items in it and not just pictures of the items you’re getting. The clear plastic viewing window is a great touch when giving this as a gift too. It’s a great first baby kit for someone with a newborn, like me. A lot of the items can be used right away. Some grow with baby and some are for just a little down the road. My absolute favorite thing in the kit was the silicone bath mitt. It’s sooo soft!! Perfect for those first gentle baths with baby! Just slip it over your hand and you’re ready to go. The comb and hairbrush set are very nice too. They are not quite as soft and I wish the brush was just a tad softer for closer to that fresh newborn stage but it’s still pretty soft and good for a baby with lots of hair! The toddler toothbrush is great to have on hand once your baby gets a little older. The mouth piece seems a little big for a baby that is barely teething but we aren’t quite there yet, so at least we have this for as our baby gets closer to that age. The bristles of the toothbrush are pretty soft so that is comforting so I know I won’t be hurting my baby. The last item in this kit is the nail file! It comes in a nice portable case and the kit even includes a battery for it. The battery compartment needs a really tiny screwdriver but that is easily overcome. I love the shape of holding this file and it’s so easy to turn on and off. It fits in your hand very well and the case comes with all the attachments you need from newborn to adult and even comes with one spare of each. The bottom of the case has a sticker that shows which file color is made for which stage of life. I really enjoyed trying the items from this kit and the esthetic of it. The kit pieces are all white and soft green which is a perfect gender neutral color way to make sure we can use it for many babies to come! The only things I wish were improved would maybe be the softness of the brush, the side of the toothbrush and the nail file heads feeling sturdier. Overall I’d still recommend this product as an amazing starter kit for new parents and would make a great baby shower gift.

My husband and I especially loved the electric nail trimmer to prevent us from cutting baby’s sensitive skin with nail clippers—this way is safer and gentler. It also includes a large array of replacement files so you don’t have to worry about ordering more. The hair brush is sturdy enough to actually work but still soft enough that it doesn’t bother him or irritate his skin. While the toothbrush is a bit big, I’m sure we’ll use it when he’s older and his teeth come in! Overall I would definitely recommend this kit— it’s made grooming my newborn a breeze! It comes with the basics that any infant/toddler needs without all the unnecessary extras that end up sitting unused in your cabinet. My favorite part is the electric nail file. It is so easy to use on my two week old, has a light on the end that points toward the nail for better visibility, and grows with your baby by having multiple head attachments based on baby’s age. It is quiet, yet effective, and I use it when my baby is asleep in my arms. The comb, brush, and bath mitt work as expected and are big enough to work for your child as they grow. I haven’t had a chance to try the toothbrush yet, although the design seems easy for a toddler to use since it has the larger handle. The only thing I wish the kit had was a hygienic way to store the toothbrush. Since my baby is not a toddler yet, I don’t have a great way to store the toothbrush to prevent germs or dust getting on it. This kit would make a great baby shower gift or just a kit to buy for personal use. It’s great to use to bond with your baby as you go through their bath time routine or as needed when baby needs a grooming touch up. This kit definitely surpassed others that I've had in the past. While most pieces included in the kit are fairly standard, I absolutely love the electric nail file. It came with a battery to get your started, extra files, and a cute case. It has two speeds, was user friendly, and fit in both my small hands and my son's. I love that it has different files for different ages and can easily be interchanged. The hairbrush, comb, and toothbrush were pretty standard. They were a good size and shape for young toddlers to be able to use themselves. My only complaint about them is that the blue cap on the bottom of the toothbrush can be taken off and becomes a possible choking hazard. It didn't seem to come off on the hairbrush or comb, so I suppose it could just have been a defective toothbrush in my kit. I did like the silicone bath scrubber quite a bit, and so did my toddler. It wasn't too abrasive and still had the oomph to gently exfoliate. After using it to clean my toddler, he had a blast playing with it. He thought it was more entertaining to play with than any of his bath toys and even tried to scrub me down with it, too. Overall I liked this kit a lot, it's worth the value from the electric nail file alone. It would be a great baby shower gift for any mom who has anxiety over clipping babies nails or finds manual files a pain. The bath mitt and electric nail file are perfect from newborn-toddler age, and the other 3 items are great as baby grows (or if your baby has hair early on). The electric file is ideal for not worrying about nicking baby’s skin using traditional nail clippers, especially if your have a wiggle worm! They are soft to the touch on baby’s skin, and you get 3 file pads for each age range. There is also a light while in use and 2 speeds. The bath mitt is perfect for gentle bath time scrubs whether it be their scalp for cradle cap, or for sensation that baby feels in their skin. My baby absolutely loves it! The other items I am very excited to use as he grows; as his hair, and teeth come in. This would be a great gift for any family, whether it’s their first baby or a new baby and they have a toddler at home!
