I found it challenging to use with my active toddler, who even when sick does not want to stay still. The nasal aspirator worked well and my toddler actually wanted it used, which is a plus! Although it requires some effort to clean, the advantages it offers justify the time spent. The medication spoon/syringe combo was liked more by my toddler than myself. I felt it a bit more messy than just using the syringe itself but my child takes medicine easily. First and foremost, I love the packaging, especially for gifting. It has all the essentials for when your little one has the sniffles. The nose suction also comes with a cute little carrying compact case. The thermometer is the basic tried and true. The medicine feeding spoon is pretty cool as you fill the syringe with the med, attach to the spoon, place food to the spoon, and feed the food and med simultaneously. It also comes with a bristle brush to clean the snot out of the nose suction.

I love that the nasal aspirator comes with a case and two rubber tips for the nose. The case and nasal aspirator are small enough to fit in a purse or bag, and the spoon and thermometer are also compact. The handle of the medspoon is made of plastic, while the bowl part is rubber, making it comfortable and flexible for my baby’s mouth. It serves its purpose of checking temperature, although it takes a little longer—about 30 to 60 seconds—to get an accurate reading. The medspoon has been particularly useful; my four-month-old doesn’t mind me putting it in her mouth because it is soft enough for her gums. However, I found the syringe a bit challenging to use when administering medicine or liquid into the spoon, as it doesn’t stay in place. I use this essential kit for my baby almost every day to help clear her nose. The nasal aspirator is actually one of my favorite components of the kit. No infant enjoys the feeling of getting their snot sucked, but they do enjoy the relief that comes after. Totally worth it! This definitely should be on your list of baby shower gifts because little ones can catch a cold sooner than you think. No feeling better, than the feeling of being prepared for anything.

I received this kit and opened it immediately upon it’s arrival to help my 3 month old find relief as she had been struggling with a stuffy nose for a number of days. The kit is includes a 3-in-1 thermometer to use under the tongue, underarm, or rectally for an infant, a nasal aspirator with a storage case and a fuss free medicine spoon. Everything you need to help your child through a those stuffy, and cold moments. My absolute favorite item has to be the Boogease Nasal Aspirator. It works wonders to clear up congestion without any fuss. It's gentle, easy to use, and surprisingly effective – a total lifesaver during cold and allergy seasons. It was fairly easy to clean using the brush that was included in the kit. I appreciate that it came with a case making it easy to throw in my diaper bag. Other components of the kit are also helpful, like the thermometer but the nose sucker definitely stands out. I love how it gets the job done quickly and efficiently, making it a must-have for any parent. The medicine spoon however didn’t impress me as much and could be improved. The kit comes with a syringe as well, which in my opinion, is a much easier way to give infants and children medicine. Overall, I think the Safety 1st Sneezy Weezy Infant Health Kit is a good investment and as a mom of four who has dealt with many stuffy little noses I would recommend it for the nasal aspirator and thermometer, but you might want to consider a different method for giving medicine.

The nasal aspirator plus the carrying case makes this a diaper bag staple. I personally am not a fan of manual aspirators but If I’m in a pinch and need one this one is aesthetically pleasing. I really enjoy the med spoon. When you have a picky toddler and infant who swap illnesses it’s easy to scoop up food and mix the medicine incognito! I will always keep a thermometer due to having two kids because it keeps us from mixing germs but the display was clear and the look and feel of it is nice and sleek. I think this is a great group of items and makes a wonderful baby shower gift to stuff in among other essential items.

While I appreciate this kit covering a lot of sick babies issues, such as a thermometer, medicine dispenser, and nose sucker, it's just doesn't work for my home. This will make a nice gift for a first time parent but even then, there are easier better products to help with your sick baby. For example the thermometer is really out dated, when you can use a non contact one that won't irritate your baby. I wouldn't buy this for me or as a gift.

As a new mom, I was feeling a little lost on what products I would need to set my baby up for success when she got sick. There are many products out there to buy individually, but having an all in one kit is a lifesaver. I think the kit provides mamas with all the tools they will need to help baby out when they have a stuffy nose, identifying a fever, and need medicine. My favorite tool is the BoogEase nasal aspirator because of its easy to use suction and the carrying case to keep it clean. My daughter had a stuffy nose and it was very easy to use. Her boogers were all clear after use. Not only has this been handy in my household, but I know it would make a great gift for my friend’s upcoming baby shower.

The variety of tools are good: a thermometer, nasal aspirator, and measurement spoon with a syringe. I initially used the nasal aspirator because my baby got sick and had a runny nose. It worked extremely well to clean the snot out! I could tell he didn’t sound as stuffy. I also used the spoon and syringe combo to give him vitamin C and vitamin D supplements. I tried using the thermometer on my baby but he hated it. He squirmed and screamed so I couldn’t use it effectively. I prefer a head/ear thermometer for ease of use with wiggly babies. But I tested the thermometer on my toddler just to see if it actually works as it should, and it does. I love the concept of the spoon with syringe, and that would be my favorite if it was made better! The syringe is so tight it doesn’t slide well when pushing liquid through it and onto the spoon. The liquid always ended up squirting too far out the end and off the spoon; making a mess and not actually working as intended. My favorite tool in the kit was the nasal aspirator because it worked the best, cleaned easily, and came with a carrying case. I like the combination of tools in this kit and it would make the perfect baby shower gift if only the thermometer was a head/ear one. What would make it even better is if it also included a baby toothbrush and fingernail clippers.

I was given this health kit to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but will be seeking it out to gift other new moms. Overall feedback: it’s a convenient, compact essential to have on hand for when your baby gets sick. And it’s helpful to have these items bundled together rather than buying them seperately. The kit includes the nasal aspirator, which I found the most helpful. My three week old baby had a stuffy and runny nose and the aspirator was so essential to have on hand to clear his nostrils. There are two different sized tips to make it easier to fit the size of your baby’s nose. My favorite part is that it comes with a small case to keep the pieces together - I won’t have to scramble to find everything when I need it while bleary eyed and sleep deprived (why does a baby always seem to get the most sick in the middle of the night?). It also makes it extremely easy for on-the-go use. My son is currently too young for the medicine spoon but I love this concept. I know, having two older children, getting medicine down when a baby needs it can be a huge challenge. This spoon helps inject it into a puree and then allows you to spoon feed it to your baby. I love the concept and I know it will come in handy in the future. When testing it on its own, the injector sticks a little so I’d recommend priming it a few times before the first use to make medicine suspension easier. The thermometer is something I didn’t think to have on hand for my first baby until I needed it. It’s something that often goes overlooked on a registry so it’s great to have it included with this kit. This one is simple and with a clear read. I would recommend adding this to a baby registry or bringing as a gift to a new mama. Their baby doesn’t need another onesie, but they do need practical, effective and convenient tools to help their baby feel better, which is what this kit provides.

I have used this kit multiple times to check my daughter’s temperature and suction her snot nose. I especially loved the nose suction because my daughter is too young to blow her nose. I have used the BoogEase Nasal Aspirator with the newborn and it worked really well! It took a couple tries to get all the gunk out of his nose but I really like that the boogies go into the receptacle rather than potentially into your mouth like other brands. It also has a nice little case for the aspirator. The Medspoon will also be tremendously helpful for my almost 2 year old as she does not like to take medicine. It’s a very cool design that the syringe hooks up to the spoon. Neither of my babies have needed the thermometer as of yet, but it is always nice to have another one on hand! All in all, I really enjoy this kit and I think it would be a great baby shower gift!

It comes with a medicine syringe and spoon combo, standard digital thermometer and a snot sucking device. Good variety for a health kit you could quickly grab at the store for those unexpected illnesses. Each component seems to be of good quality and easy to clean/sterilize as needed. My favorite part of this is the medicine syringe/spoon combo. I hadn’t seen anything like that before and think it will be really useful in administering meds to my LO’s when they’re sick. I’m thinking spoonful of apple sauce to mask the medicine taste. We’ll see! My least favorite thing about this kit is the snot sucker device. I just can’t lol. The thought of sucking in boogiefied air just grosses me out. I’m sure there are parents who would love it though and find it very useful. The sucking device does come with a cleaning brush and storage case both of which are helpful. My littles have not been sick since I received this kit so I haven’t used it yet but I’m looking forward to trying it out. Overall what I love about this kit is that it has the bare essentials you would need for your kiddos sick days. It would make a great baby shower gift especially for a first time mom.
