I guess I bought the 4 bag bundle. Don’t know if you still sell it one bag at a time? Now I have extra bags of fertilizer I have to store all year. Next year I will be purchasing locally one bag at a time.

By mid Sep I'm ready to button up my yard work applications and WinterGuard is the perfect way to help the lawn get through our harsh winters. I am always the first one to 'green up' with healthy growth in early spring compared to my neighbors. I'm writing this review at the end of Feb. Our snow has receded, and the lawn is beautifully green and not yellowish straw color!

I ordered the year round for large yards 15k sq ft. For some reason, I received a 15k sq ft turf builder halts crab grass and a 15k sq ft summer guard, BUT I only got 12k sq ft of weed and feed and winter guard. Now I will have to go back to the store and buy more product just to cover my yard. Makes NO sense....

Whoa - burned my lawn within a week - in rainy Seattle surburb. Buried in the feedback comments it says "temperature below 60 degrees will cause the lawn to go dormant. Fertilizer applications to a dormant lawn can cause severe damage." NO where does it give this warning on the package Photo is before application

Lawn usually responds well to Scotts fertilizer. Most of the time, the fertilizer is lump-free. Yet, I cannot see that it performs significantly better than other products, but seems to be better nonetheless.

The most common reason a lawn does not respond to fertilizer is soil pH. Soil pH must be in-between 5.5-7.5 for fertilizer to be absorbed by the grass. You may also need to thatch your lawn to remove excess buildup. Thatch over 1/2" thick prevents the nutrients from getting to the plant roots. We want you to be confident in our products.
