A: Looks dark gray, but that's compared to white shower. I'd guess it's right in the middle of the spectrum.

Did the job! We have two heavily shedding dogs so I’m sure a little hair got through, but it did a good job of blocking most of the hair from going down our shower drain. It did not suction to our floor drain in our walk-in shower but as long as we didn’t bump it or kick it, it worked fine.

Useless! The design is terrible. The shower doesn’t drain, once there’s hair, so it just backs up while you’re showering. It’s gross. Even when there’s no hair, it barely drains, so you still have the same issue. Don’t waste your money. Just go get the one from Kitsch, it works so good!

This drain protector lets so much hair through, defeating the entire purpose of this product. After using this, I’ve had to buy a drain cleaner tool to clean out the handfuls of hair that escaped through this drain protector.

I should have read the reviews, the water doesn’t drain well & causes a small pool of water. It also doesn’t catch hair, I have a lot of hair & lose a lot but it only catches a small amount! Not worth the price, I do not recommend this.

I bought this product in store and did not check reviews prior to purchase. That being said, when I got home and placed this over my shower drain and started the water, the water started to pool about 3/4" before draining. I am not a fan of 'standing water' when I shower, so I will be returning the product. I cannot speak to its ability to trap/deter hair since I did not use it once the water started pooling.

This drain protector gave my tub more standing water than it had before drain protector. It causes water to drain extremely slowly due to the thick rubber material and leads to standing water. It does catch hair but if you’re okay with a slower drain and standing water this is the product for you.

I have a pop-up bathtub drain. I'm happy with it. Don't expect it to stay in place unless the tub is draining. The suction of the draining water holds it in place while it catches all the hair. That's what I needed.

I would not get this style again. It does seem to stop the water from draining as quickly. Hair will gather around the top and also stop it from draining. Also some hair slips through

It stops a lot of hair from going down the drain. However, it pools water in the tub and is slow to drain. I've had to clean my shower more often due to the soap scum building up around the front of my bathtub. It stays nicely in place and doesn't float. The only 'bad' thing about it is that the rubber starts to smell after a while. I clean it after every shower and it gives my bathroom a slightly dirty-sweet smell. I have to put it in a zip lock bag if I have company over.
