Similac NeoSure Powder Infant Formula - 13.1oz

Our twins were born at 35 weeks and 4 lbs. after three months of not getting on the growth curve out paediatrician recommended that we add a scoop of neosure to the breast milk bottle. After we give them the neosure they both experienced severe gas and constipation. They would not eat over half their usual bottle and they were spitting up anything they did eat. We stopped using the product after 2 days because it was torture for them without any positive impact.

My son was born prematurely and had to stay in the NICU. While I developed my milk supply, I supplemented multiple feedings with Similac Neosure Ready-to-feed 2oz bottles. I purchased two 48 count cases and the single use similac slow flow nipples to continue familiarity in feedings at home. He has tripled his weight and I’m happy with this brand. I am struggling to find the 2oz bottles and would love if a representative reached out and assisted with my purchase. Traveling with those individual bottles and nipples has made traveling a breeze. Multiple fit in the diaper bag and I can carry around many days worth of feedings without the need for a refrigerator.

My baby has been on neosure since birth. She was born at 33 weeks and is now caught up at 5 months. She does seem to have some trouble with gas and spits up a good bit. But overall I'm happy with her development.

My child loves it she is not gassey or spitting up since i switched her to the powder

My baby was on neosure for a short while when we came home from the hospital. We switched to 360 sensitive because neosure left him very gassy.

The NICU started my baby on this formula. I wanted to switch to a cheaper competitor, but two pediatricians advised to stick with Similac Neosure because my baby was doing so well on it and doubled his weight! He does seem to have a lot of gas, but I will live with it since we are relieved to hear that has grown so much and went from the 27 percentile to 49 percentile for his age group.

My infant tolerates this milk and has no digestion issues whatsoever I love it!

Don’t give this to your baby. My baby was born premature and this formula was given to her at NICU. We were sent home with the ready to feed bottles and those were good. But after that I used these cans and baby has been very fussy, vomiting, and really constipated. She even cries very loud out of nowhere and pushes a-lot. I feel so bad for her. Tomorrow I will be going to her pediatric because I cant see her in pain anymore. It’s been days since she last pooped.

First, let me lead with this formula is great for rapid weight gain for a preemie. My baby gained around 9oz a week, give or take, and caught up to a relatively “normal” newborn size around 1 month on it. But now on to the ugly. In NICU, they were using the premixed liquid Neosure, which she seemed to tolerate well, and we were sent home with the powder formula with a 24 calorie formulation (5.5oz of water to 3 scoops of formula.) For the first week or so, things were pretty good, but then I noticed that she started to sound congested, but I couldn’t get anything out of her nose. Fast forward a few weeks, we’ve had increased gassiness, fussing and refusing to sleep, and some pretty evident signs of reflux, such as several episodes of nasal reflux. We give mylicon drops like they’re going out of style and suction her nose to clear it of the backup, but overall it has not been a good experience for us as NICU/preemie parents.

My baby was born at 34 weeks. Sent home with this formula. About a week later, he was constipated and very fussy all the time. When I switched his formula to Emfamil premie version, he was back to normal with regular bowels. I do not recommend this.

Horrible formula.. caused so many stomach issues. If your looking for a premature formula I would look to enfamil. The pediatrician kept pushing this formula but my baby was miserable. Completely switched formulas and now she is more comfortable now pulling up legs, no being up all night, no constipation, no spitting up or etc. very surprised this is so pushed

My baby was born at 34 weeks. This was the formula they fed him during his Nicu stay. This formula did help him gain weight very rapidly, I am glad that it helped him catch up to a normal weight. That is the only good thing I can say about this formula. This formula only made him gassy and miserable! Today was my last STRAW when he was having a bowel movement ( mind you it had been a few days since he had one) & he literally cried so loud in so much pain & i open his diaper to see that he pooped 3 hard stools. I was completely heart broken to see what this formula had done to my baby. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone! no baby deserves to go through the pain that this formula will put them through. It’s seriously not worth it. I would suggest looking elsewhere and doing your research just like I did. I have stopped giving him this formula and will never reach for it again. wouldn’t use this formula even if given to me for FREE. what a crap formula for preemie babies. they deserve better than this terrible formula that just causes them pain just to have a bowel movement.

Made my baby constipated and crying in pain. Shouldn’t be corn syrup in formula anyways & this is what hospitals are feeding them in the nicu. Ridiculous

My micropreemie did not tolerate this at all being discharged home on it. It killed his belly. He was gassy, constipated, fussy and in pain until we stopped it and it was an immediate difference. This stuff is terrible on their stomachs.

Out baby really loved this formula with no problems, only thing is this product is near to impossible to find in any store, now we tried many other brands even the premie infamil version which he is having a hard time taking, likes its to thick.. But Neo sure was perfect for him, just can't find it

I usually don’t write reviews but I feel like I have to. My baby was born at 29 weeks gestation so we were in the NICU for 63 days. Towards the end of our stay I couldn’t keep up with his feed. I wasn’t producing enough milk. The hospital gave him this formula and my baby was so gassy! We went home using this and are still using big gas has gotten a lot worse and he gets spit ups a lot. My baby looks like he’s in pain. He wakes up from naps super fussy and gassy. When he’s passing gas he cries as well. I’m getting off of this today. I’ve been doing some research and decided to start on Kendamil. Hopefully he does better. I do want to say that it did help him gain weight pretty quickly! But, I just can’t see him in pain anymore. Btw I also tried it myself and it’s not good at all.

Smells like vomit. My baby got super constipated using this formula. Too much iron. She was a nicu baby and this is what they used, not a good formula. Stay clear. Look at ingredients. All bad

My preemie was on this in the NICU and loved it. It helped him poop and he wasn’t very colicky. We had to switch to another when we couldn’t find this one. Now that these are back in stores, we’ve been giving it to him and he was instantly a different baby. He’s happy after he drinks it and poops on his own which he wasn’t doing before
