Q: What's the biggest difference between neosure and 360 total ? Is it safe to have this formula after the first month as I stored up a bit more.

Our twins were born at 35 weeks and 4 lbs. after three months of not getting on the growth curve out paediatrician recommended that we add a scoop of neosure to the breast milk bottle. After we give them the neosure they both experienced severe gas and constipation. They would not eat over half their usual bottle and they were spitting up anything they did eat. We stopped using the product after 2 days because it was torture for them without any positive impact.

The NICU started my baby on this formula. I wanted to switch to a cheaper competitor, but two pediatricians advised to stick with Similac Neosure because my baby was doing so well on it and doubled his weight! He does seem to have a lot of gas, but I will live with it since we are relieved to hear that has grown so much and went from the 27 percentile to 49 percentile for his age group.

My pediatrician recommended as a fortifier to up my babies calories. I add 2tsp of formula to 5oz of my breast milk. My baby went from drinking 5oz+ breastmilk to taking an hour to finish 2oz of fortified Similac. I just thought our baby didn’t like the taste of formula or he was full. It wasn’t until I purchased Kendamil and my baby drank his whole 5oz bottle in less than 13 minutes! I smelled both containers and Similac smelled so rancid! No wonder my baby didn’t drink his milk.. He was probably starving this entire time 😩

My twins were born at 30 weeks gestation, and we were told to feed this formula upon discharge 6 weeks later. For the past 6 weeks I have begged the pediatrician to recommend another formula. My babies scream and cry in pain at every meal. They are gassy, pulling their legs up in pain, throwing up, and severely constipated. The doctor put them on suppositories and ant-acid rather than switch formula. It’s infuriating! Do I recommend? Not a chance! Plus, the formula has floaters. Not sure why!

We normally buy the regular size (371g) The first time we tried the larger size , my baby didn't like the taste. I tried it myself, it's not the same taste and smell with the smaller size though they don't have differences in the labels. It smells and tastes fishy, metal, all together makes it an awful taste.

The twins have been able to dring this formula as a supplement to breast feeding and after they stopped breastfeeding. Other formulas did not agree with them and caused them digestive problems.

I know its what my baby needs and it has all the extra nutrients and calories my 29 weeker needs, but it does cause tummy discomfort and constipation. My nicu said it’s the best preemie formula if you need it.

My baby was born a premie and the doctor states to feed this to him until he’s 6 months old. So far he has been doing great on it and gaining weight which we are thankful for.

This formula was prescribed to my preemie twins by their NICU doctor to gain weight after we were discharged from the hospital, so I felt obligated to buy it. We used it for a month and they HATED it. It’s so much high fructose corn syrup- they recommend feeding this to babies?? They threw up every time I gave it to them. I took them off it and just did exclusively breastmilk for as long as I could (about 6 months) and then supplemented with a European style formula with much better ingredients instead. Every once in a while I run out of the better formula and try to use the Similac again because I have it on hand, and they still pile it all up every time, months later.

Was recommended to switch this as little one was born at 5lbs/37 weeks. Baby was miserable and stopped pooping. Constantly passing smelly gas, red face, arching back and constipation. Only used for 4 days when 5 days old. We are almost 2 weeks old and wish I could provide relief instantly.

My baby was born at 31 weeks. He was in the NICU for 30+ days. To be sent home with this and watch the pain he was in broke my heart. The amount of gas he had and couldn’t poop was sad. I took him off myself. He’s on a different brand and DOING well. Neosure is the devil…..please go back to the drawing board with this one.

My son was given this in the NICU with my breast milk. My supply has been dipping so we’ve been giving him more formula. Doctor recommended he stays on this to make sure he maintains his weight. He doesn’t seem to mind it. I feel like it makes him gassy a lot of the time.
