Sunbeam 1200 Watts Classic Steam Iron is efficient and easy to use. Includes a powerful SHOT OF STEAM® feature to provide an extra burst of steam to help smooth out stubborn wrinkles on both flat surfaces and vertically for hanging garments, upholstery, or drapery. For added peace of mind there is an auto-off feature and and an LED temperature ready indicator light. Features an anti-drip system to prevent water leakage and eliminate unwanted drips, anti-calc to help reduce calcium build up and variable temperature select for multiple fabric options. This clothes iron's precision tip allows you to get in between buttons, lapels and around collars with easy maneuverability. The non-stick soleplate surface easily glides over fabrics to smooth out wrinkles quickly and efficiently and have you looking your best.

Q: What are the actual dimensions of this iron. I small storage space and the iron cannot be more than 10.25" from base to tip when standing upright.

This is not a review for the item itself because as soon as I opened the box I realized I got a used return product because the iron already had water in it and there’s condensation inside still. First time this ever happened to me from Target, I’m sure it was just an honest mistake, but I hope Target staff checks their return items first before deciding to put it back on the shelves.

Very smooth working. I haven't had any of the problems people here complain about such as leaks, inadvertent steam etc. I wonder if they just didn't close the water compartment correctly. It's light, it irons very smoothly, shuts off automatically after about 10 minutes, and works great in general. One very minor criticism: Due to the rounded front, it's not as easy to wrap the wire around the iron when it's not in use as it was with my old one. I figured out a way though.

1️⃣Intermittently LEAKS. 2️⃣SWIVEL CORD=Zero swivel. Constantly loops around iron and close to getting melted. 3️⃣DIAL located at unfortunate spot. 4️⃣First shot of steam stained my ironing board cover with calcium deposits. 5️⃣✅Lightweight! 6️⃣✅PRICE. You get what you pay for. 7️⃣NEW?? Hmm. Target needs to add "Buy with caveats."

This is the worst iron I've ever purchased. There's no steam, it leaks and the squirt button it on the inside of the handle which isn't ergonomically smart.

I work in an office and have to iron a number of pieces of clothing a day to compose an outfit, and the iron works perfectly on all the different kinds of fabric. Other irons either overheat and burn the fabric or develop weird burn marks after a while but this one still looks brand new after many days of use.  Would recommend this iron for anyone who is looking for something that will care for your clothes, but still be a quick and easy job.

It has plenty of settings and has an automatic shut off if you forget to turn it off. I really like that the steam button is on top of the handle and the spray button is like a little trigger underneath the handle so you don’t have to try to distinguish which is which. It worked great on all of my dress clothes for Easter Sunday.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very light and easy to use very durable and very good to use on pants this Sunbeam iron heated to 450 degrees in less than a minute. We loved that it was light and easy to maneuver, and we only docked half a point for portability because the 8-foot cord is not retractable. When it came to ironing multiple fabric types, this iron performed well on both satin and cotton, getting all of the ripples out in just a few passes. It took a little more effort to remove wrinkles from the linen.
Love the strong shot of steam, no need for starch.

Also has an automatic shutoff, which comes in so handy. How many times someone wants something I think I will be right back and I get sidetracked. Don’t have to worry about the iron still being on.
